I understood:

Zephyr 4 = No grille

Zephyr 6 = Grille with single headlamps

Zodiac = Grille with twin headlamps

The grille on Zephyrs was fitted to post facelift((1967) Deluxes, whether V4 or V6 . Although that one with its fancy separate half nylon seats looks like a deluxe. The interesting thing about that one is that it's a 3.0 , no UK civilian Zephyrs ever got the 3.0 just the 2.5, but export markets did. In fact all Zephyrs and Zodiacs sold in the Colonies were V6es . Ford obviously didn't think the 2.0 V4 was up to Aussie,Kiwi and Springbok climates and abuse.

I don't know if the crazy Europeans even got 1700 V4s due to funny tax regulations or owt, they would have been a barrel of laughs if the 1700 V4 Corsair I once drove was anything to go by.

Motoring misery personified.  White-and-rust Merc 190 with a manky blue cloth interior, 2-litre NA diesel engine and manual 'box.

Would make a good WBOD though - no danger of wheelspin, even on sheet ice.

This pogweaseled and Mondeo-bumpered Polo looks almost as miserable as the Merc above, but I'm intrigued by what's parked next to it.

I like that dashboard, it looks as if the warning lights will just go round-and-around, then stop on something expensive. Like a sort of Renault Wheel Of Mis-fortune.

What an awesome idea

If I ever get a P4, I'll install one of those pressurised air horn batteries that can play a melody and have it play Rule Britannia.

That reliant is indeed registered as 0cc Fuel Type: Electricity

Currently sorned and no MOT history recorded.

There is probably a Fork Lift somewhere with its motor robbed.

Diesel R8 with MOT until next year - £195!7c8684dc35c27e8063b9cd3fbf8d71c1.jpghttp://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201610279199416

All things going well i.e. the trains aren't fucked, I'll be collecting this after work tomorrow.

Must remember it's the black pump, as I'm not used to owning a dizzler. It'll be weird driving a wrongly engined R8, but I'm willing to be pleasantly surprised.

Blobby Rover Kettle with 10 mths MOT - £99 start

  • its got the odd dint
  • and the odd scratch
  • and the odd bit of rust (see pictures for all of these)
  • the sunroof doesn't work
  • the boot card is a bit scraggly
  • n/s mirror doesn't fold
  • o/s mirror faring is a bit loose
  • like all Rovers, you have to check the coolant regularly

Don't those early Masters have an Iveco engine?

That's absolutely shit.

^^ This is a great site about someone in the states who did a forklift motor into Suzuki Swift conversion.
