Cheap kei car for winter ... it says it needs some tlc, but it has MOT and I've never seen one of these for less than a grand before.

I suppose time of year and market make it a good time to buy a convertible.

idea what the 308's replacement will be called but it'll make finding 309 parts a pain if they call it 309!

It'll be called 308.

Peugeot has now frozen all European model ranges on '08'. So next 208 will be 208, next 508 will be 508 etc.

Next 107 will be 108.

Peugeot is also using '01' for its emerging markets cars. There's a new 301, for example.

she had a quick respray to tidy her up as she was dry stored for 10 years

Looking at the state of those wheel arches it's makes me wonder how quick?

I fail to see the sellers logic "been in store for a decade so a spruce up would be good. Spray the car? Yeah! Run a hoover through the car or a cloth over the mould? Nah, fuck it"

Seeing the state of the interior I have decided not to go into the house even if invited.

Spare wheel tells the tale of better days, now long gone, a bit like using the leg from your smashed Chippendale as a pit-prop.

Have we had this yet ? Looks hot and judging by the brown stains on the header tank it's also got hot at some time.

Bugger me a carbed 320, I used to have one with the slushbox and a thirst for oil. It was a lot of fun and very brisk.

I think the jist of this is:

He owns a shitty camper and wants a top quality repair for £700

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Restoring-Vw- ... 2a259e01a1

Thats awesome, he wants his Camper van primed, painted and lacquered inside and out, plus the bumpers repaired and painted, PLUS sort out the wiring that he's buggered up, for 700 quid! I can just imagine what that would be like, he'll be ringing up every fucking day and coming round your unit checking up and picking holes in every bloody thing.
