Not shite money but here's one of those new fangled Saabs that's came out right before they went tits up. 7000 doesn't seem too bad for an 11 plate car although I've no idea what parts support is like given they built them for such a short period of time. I mean what would you do if you bumped it and needed a new bonnet or something?

This is a bit pointless and more than a whole one would cost, but it does actually look quite well made compared to some of them.

Always thought they were pretty cars. I wouldn't have thought support would be that bad, considering that alot of the parts would be GM parts bin?

That green paint was fucking awful. If they'd used olive drab it would have been better as it wouldn't have looked like it was covered in snot.

I'm really not sure who'd want that car now.

It's probably worth about £500 now... :? :?

them late scab 95's are beautiful, and i'm amazed at just how much money they are still selling for.

how long is it now since saab went belly up?

thinking back to the unpleasantness at MGR in 2005, even the late cars became worthless, though this hasn't happened with saab's.

could be i guess that saab has a better reputation than MGR had?

I'd love a 305 but that one looks about as unappealing a version as you could possibly get!!!! Shite colour, spec, engine.

These are normally the first words in a collection thread.

^^^  Good luck with that. I've only just looked at the rust pictures, and judging by my recent experience of mk2 Cav rear chassis legs I think it's fucked.

Impressively crunchy but I can't imagine another one will be along any time soon.

[Dr_Rumack] I just wanted to tell you both good luck, we're all counting on you.[/Dr_Rumack]

These are currently on my radar, since I have taken a sacred vow not to buy a sensible* reliable* German car.

Wasn't there something in the mags when they were launched about only the high spec ones having proper suspension ? I think the basic ones have got cart springs and rod operated drums on the back or something.

I like those Saabs and I guess most of the mechanicals will be Insignia derived. I recon it'll be body and trim parts that'll be the issue should you ever need them.
