What a cunt. It's like phoning up a vintage radio enthusiast and saying 'I've got a really rare old radio, there are only 20 left in the world, but if you don't buy it from me for £10,000 I will smash it to pieces'.

What a way to sell a car. I'd love that. My aunt had one when I was a nipper. Even if I had the money, I'm not sure I could bring myself to give it to him.

Good value at £1200. Flog a few bits on and race the rest.

I quite fancy a lame moped, the sort the lollipop and dinner ladies used to drive, just to get to work on when I cant be arsed running or cycling.

This sort of thing seems pretty cheap and cheerful.

And despite being well fucking cool, I suspect this might not be a good idea.

What would it take to get this registered I wonder?

Obviously I will change my mind in half an hour (I do that). If I do get a bike I bet I get another CBR125 as they are superb round town but probably wont do that either........

Regarding "1993 ROVER METRO WITH A DIFFERENCE / SCOOBY EATER /NO SWAPS ALOUD #190785813262â€Â"

Certainly an interesting car.

Whilst browsing your listing I find myself wondering aloud about a few issues.

Firstly, how do you know it will "do the clock 150mph" if the speedometer doesn't work?

Secondly, as the car isn't currently allowed on the road and hasn't been taxed since February of last year (presumably prior to its one-year rebuild) can you explain how you've managed to test its performance?

Thirdly, is the car loud? I'm concerned as certain tack days impose noise limits that mean you aren't allowed to take an overly loud car out onto the circuit.

Fourthly, if you'll allow me to continue, your wording of the title suggests you may be open to the possibility of some sort of swap?

If this is the case, would you take a Girls Aloud album in exchange for the car?

Its Chemistry on cd, with its original bonus poster.

The poster is laminated.

the speedo broke after the car was tested and was on trade plate on private land car not to loud but is louder that most cars

no swaps for you girls aloud thanks again

I doubt he got it...

v8 XJR for less than a grand. It keeps going into limp home mode. Should be an easy fix*

My XJ8 kept doing that - turned out to be a dodgy wire to the temp sensor, took about 5 minutes to fix.

Lada = YES.

I didn't know they made booted RHD models. Quite a rarity then.

Nor I. Let the cock head race it, it'll last about 5 minutes tops with those fibreglass wings and if he's rich enough to not be arsed blowing a few hundred quid racing it then good on him.

He'd never admit it of course but you just know greed is getting the better of him and he would (obviously) rather have the money than race it or he'd stop chatting shit and get it on the oval. I honestly couldn't give a flying one if he does race it, it'll make the remaining ones even more valuable and he'll be lobbing a few hundred quid down the Swanney to boot.

Look at this shit heap.

the best bit is the engine. That strut 'brace' is going to add about the same rigidity as if you stretched a fuggin jellied eel across the engine bay.

Check out this hopeless morons best effort

12 photos, 7 just of documentation. Then there's the 3 word description, 2 words incorrectly spelled. But the icing on the cake must be the 'sellers notes'. Make head or tail of it if you can.

'BEADELES THE COMIDIANS'

Maybe Jeremy has had a small hand in this then?

I'd absolutely love that car and would think it a terrible shame if it were raced. Still, were I wealthy enough, I'd rather go round to his house and set fire to the money in front of his face than let such a complete cretin have it.
