Citroen 2cv Dolly Special - Picture 1 of 7

Citroen 2cv Dolly Special | eBay UK

Saw one of these today being driven how it should be. They seem to be getting a rarer and rarer sight these days.

These Transits never* went wrong, so I don't know what they look like under the bonnet.

Is that wiring colour coded blue or is it a trick of the light?

Overspray. I wonder what the new paint is hiding.

Smoll Quick Moose, in a horrible (rare apparently) colour, with the wrong wheels, although seller seems to think otherwise. My one was the pigs tits, and would probably still have had it other than someone blowing it up. (Not me.)

Don’t think they’re the wrong wheels m9, they look a lot like the ones my old S40 T4 had.

Yeah, the crazy tax bracket starts in March 2006. Anything older than March 2001 is just divided into bigger than 1.5l or smaller.

As posted by me 1,000,000 times before on here, the UK's 2001-2017 VED system has got to be among the illest thought out and utterly stupid tax policies, ever.

But with probably millions of cars on the road still benefitting from the nonsensical £20/35 bands, I doubt it'll ever change due to counting as a shot in 'the war on the motorist'.

The pricing is truly mental. My brother runs a 2014 almost 200 bhp Golf GTD which costs £20 annually, despite being a performance derv.

Down the road from us, a 2006 3 litre derv Ssanyong Rodius has been laid up slowly rotting away for the last five years. I assume it's partly due to the fact that annual rfl is currently coming in at an eye-watering £735.

My brother also owns a 2008 4L V8 BMW M3 coupe. That's £760 annually, but considering what's under the bonnet, it's almost worth it.

Import Bran Found etc,  in JRG. No idea if £5250 is a lot of money, needs a fettle. Over to our expert @Schaefft I think Barn Find Acura/Honda Legend Coupe | eBay UK

Barn Find Acura/Honda Legend Coupe - Picture 1 of 23

1st gen Legend coupes are significantly less desirable than the 2nd gen ones but someone might be willing to pay that for a super clean one. I missed out on a 2nd gen Coupe last weekend.

Thanks to Centraal Beheer I think I will forever associate Mk 4 vans with not going to Rio...

I didn’t realise you could still order a basic model in 2022, I’m guessing you can’t still?

That is about the most IOW modern I could imagine. I remember loads of Rivas hanging on until the early naughties when they had all but disappeared from the mainland.

Burnt 'Stro, spears or reapers in the Parts section. Chicken not included.

It has intact wheel arches and is red, both of which may be of interest to @JMotor

Currently £414. 68 (?) and it's in Hampshire.

Sadly I've no means to move this. Let alone have room for it.

It looks to be very clean body wise. It would make sense get that and burst the Ledbury to save it.

Except I don't make sensible decisions!

The senseless part isn't the pricing though.

The senseless part is that it's just a tax on the official fuel economy figure. It doesn't take into account the amount the car is used, unlike taxes on fuel.

Why tax the official fuel economy figure? If a car with low mpg is barely used, it'll use far less fuel overall than one with high mpg that does 50,000 miles per year.
