That is utterly, utterly fan-fucking-tastic. That engine is a belter, too, massively better than the wheezy 2.4 thing.  What a lovely van.

This has gone very Transit-y and the wrong type of engine.

£500 (if it stays at that much) seems ok for a running and possibly useable (on a small holding or something) lorry.

Fuelled by Cider I’m the highest bidder……..

Half the bidders on it are probably going to be from this forum!

Together with a grey metal filing cabinet, a 1960's wood grained desk, a swivel faux leather desk chair, dead pot plant, a sofa and a broken coffee table with 15 year old cars mags.

That's described my living room !

I just don't get these things at all. Who actually sets out to cramp themselves into the corner of one fifteenth of an ice cream van and thinks it's a holiday?

An early example and in rare 'base model' merit spec, so 4 speed gearbox, no rear wiper, steel wheels (no wheel trims), no radio.

I genuinely had no idea the Corsa B had a four speed in some markets! I've never seen one, and according to my Alle Auto's '94  a five speed was standard for even the most basic of Corsas here....

Its fucked,

My wife had a hankering after one of these for a bit. It was impossible to find one within ShitePounds reach without a fucked engine. Our neighbour then got one as a 'loaner' and the unique sensual experience of one of them in the flesh was the final nail in that coffin of hankering.

Mine was E927DCX (or something similar) and was bought new as there was an offer on this special* edition. Those little missing plastic stips on the C pillar are specific to this model and were fooking expensive back in 1987 as some twat nicked them. I ended up buying the cheap plain ones and visiting Halfrauds for some coloured tape. 135 wide tyres as well, traded for a month old XS when two years old.
