VSX was cloth and wood as standard but perhaps suede was optional. I know the Executive got full leather and don't think there was a trim in between

Number plate is familiar. Just checked and dad’s ZX was m484 aca. Likely to be a brooklands Wrexham car.

Weren't they on Holt Road not too far from the industrial estate? Good little set up and  a nice bunch of people.

Indeed yes. Their site actually backed on to my grans garden in woodland grove. My dad had cars from them in the 70s until they closed. The xantia was from cubbin and north .

my 2cv was originally from their as was my second cx.

My old boss won a brand new car in a competition (I forget what it was) and he back traded it with them for a quite new Sierra 2000E and cash his way.  I used to service a machine in their garage, great bunch of people.

I remember going with dad to pick up a new bx and the manager had just bought a Bentley 8.  Can’t recall his name now.

Bedford CF 350 Luton Van - Picture 1 of 10

Bedford CF 350 Luton Van | eBay

I reckon @eddyramrod should go on a massive vodka fuelled bender tonight, forget what he'd done, then open the door on Saturday morning  to this on the back of a recovery truck outside his house.

I saw this at the weekend and the pictures flatter it, a lot.  Not a £7k car in my opinion, maybe £4.5/5000.  To me Seven is Mk 2 Granada money in that condition.  Saying that I find it hard not to compare everything to stuff I paid a couple of hundred quid for 30 years ago,, I will eventually put my hand in my pocket , even if it’s just to stop my Mrs randomly buying an eBay Cortina or Granny because Im prevaricating so much.
