Chain and tensioners, carbon build up, high pressure fuel pumps.

If you do go look at it, check the jacking points. They're made of runny dog shit.

I've always wondered on these. 270+ out of a 1.6 turbo engine has to be serious wear on an engine and turbo does it not? Are there examples of big mileage ones?

If I was rich I'd have this as art in an island in the middle of my lake.

I think the 270 is different to the 156 and 200. They have fancy materials in them to deal with the extra poke.

Mine was a 200 GT. Random bed shitting aside it was a really fun car to drive.

I find myself quite drawn to this Peugeot Rcz 1.6 thp sport 156bhp 11 months mot but

rcz.thumb.jpg.469331605104104ed1da09a5325dc8d1.jpg

it's in Rhyl (NBZ?)
it's re-listed
it has a colourful* MOT history

That's enough alarm bells that I should wake up but it's nearby so I might go and have a look anyway.

@iainrcz can you tell my why I shouldn't?

has this got the same wonderful* engine as the Bini's of that era???

Where's your sense of adventure (Croydon, sorry Chiswick) Surely you mean do the absolute minimum to get it running, driving, stopping and not falling apart and then make full use of the tax, mot and ulez exemptions to have it as your town car.

The Prince. When it's happy it isn't bad.

Tends to cack its pants quite a bit though.

This could be cheap as they seem to have listed it badly

It is rusty. it is so rusty that the plastic indicator lens is rusting.
