I'd love this 50 Shades of Red Skoda Felicia which appears to be a higher up in the range model. However, it's probably also 50 Shades of Rust underneath (see the rear arches)! :D

They are an awful lash-up. All show and no go. £199,000 will buy a lot of other much better cars.

Dangerous things - French writer Albert Camus died in one.

I thought they went pretty well. Slowing down consistently and steering reliably around corners/obstacles possibly not so good.

Yes I meant drivability.

If you want elegance these are much better - but still a handful. About one-fourth the price

Studebaker Hawk (red) and Avanti - both on US Ebay. They are in R2 specification which means a supercharger.

The Avanti particularly is good for 130+mph.

we've spent many hours and worked very hard on this

I particularly like the bare, sharp metal seam at neck level

we wanted to keep it as original as possible

it doesn't even have the original back seat in it

Bet you made a really cool drinks cabinet or DJ setup in the boot though, that's a no brainer.

oh. Still, I like that "using a UV light to look for semen in a hotel room" look you've gone for.

I had one of these as a company car, a 1.8GDi whilst waiting for my new Mondeo back in 2001. Bloody awful in my opinion, sounded like a Simca from the 70s. We were visiting my parents for Christmas and I was scraping the ice off on Christmas morning and forgot the anti-hijack alarm fitted. Car running, me scraping, car locks itself, bollocks😡spare key is in Reading, parents in Glasgow. Had to call the AA on Christmas Day and he got it open…..using a tool I later got gifted that day. Hated that car.

Yeah those Carismas could will be one of those 'too shite for Autoshite'. Alongside the PT Cruiser,

Genuinely miserable cars with no redeeming features.

My dad seems to spend time window shopping on carandclassic at the moment. Interesting history on this facel vega with at least one owner spending time “ shooting tigers”. Lovely colour though.

Owned by a man in his 20s with a trust fund income, who spent his time chasing cougars more like.

It's a silver oxymoron.

I doubt there is any more rust than you can see there. That seems to be the only place Felicias go, unlike the Favorit which can go anywhere. Having said that, that is not a great example and they are trying to flog it as a collectors item. Perhaps it's the special edition with a mix of alloy and steel wheels.

There are people who want these but only about three of them, of which I am one, but nobody would want that one.
