I LOVE this...

Image 1 - Lancia Dedra 2.0 Automatic 1993. Long MOT. FSH Rare car, good cond. (Scotland).

0 bids (so far), no reserve and a long MOT and sitting under a grand. Plus it's local!

Alas, I know I really shouldn't as knowing my luck would ending up being too good to be true and require a weldathon in the near future (Haha lancia rust), as well as having no space at the moment...

I'm strangely attracted too. Completely impractical for what I'm after.

I am several hundred miles away unfortunately but still contemplating. Should have learnt my lesson after the last one really though.... !

I'm glad that those bumpers with rust holes right through them only need buffed and the MOT history skips between Kms and Miles quite happily.  The MOT testers shorthand for rotten as a pear but I'm not allowed to go any further "heavily undersealed" just kills it off.

Tiny turbo. These are absolute rust buckets and it looks like this one has already started to melt.

Yep.

RUN AWAY VERY FAST.

Mr Coffees up there had one. I poked the front wing and my finger went straight through it.

I understand that these cars, specifically, have no 'structural/susp' metalwork "far enough away" from anywhere that MOT rust is = DEATH....??

The guy I bought SuziQ off, in York, had one on his drive....

We had a 'short chat' >> about 'long welding hours' needed 🤐

These suffer from the same issue as the Suzuki. Not rust proofed from factory and loads of dirt traps. Apparently a lot of bits for them are unobtainium.

JDM cars supposedly don't have the same grade of anti-corrosion as those built for European markets. The Cappuccino was originally intended to be JDM-only, and I don't think Suzuki did very much in the way of improving rustproofing for the 1000 or so cars that were officially imported to Britain.

I must admit these are looking better and better as the years go by...totally overlooked at the time, but I still reckon this would still cut the mustard (dijon, naturally) today.. did they do a Turbot version??????
