I wonder if it might be something to do with an iron deficiency.... Some horses will generally try to taste anything to satisfy their curiosity. That might include metallic paint.

It's a long list but most of them are minor bits. A couple of bits of welding on the sills (normal for these...) and a new cat look to be the only major points.
