There's a bloke near me who daily drives a mint condition Maroon 505 GTI, I usually see it heading down towards the CBD on my early morning walks.

This is probably popular on here and has some charm, but five grand seems a lot to me, The least they could do is give it a thorough wash! Maybe I am not up with the latest trends though and lots of dirt and maybe a scattering of straw is the way to prepare a car for sale?

The car had been dry stored for 4 years. It runs drives and stops. Due to the current situation I cant take the car for MOT so selling as is.

I wouldn't hesitate taking it for a MOT....

WTF is he doing if not hesitating then.
  Somebody get it bought ??

That thing is ace, however too expensive. I'm aware that's an incredibly low mileage car and that RHD R6s are quite rare, but still too pricey.

£5K for that is ridiculous.  It's rougher than mine, cosmetically at least.  I know classic car prices have gone up a lot since I bought mine, but even so that's £1,500 tops.
