About £3200 too much for most of us on here. Good luck with sale - it looks fit.

Wrong end of the country and no garage or suitable undercover storage space so probably not the most helpful of comments but that is an absolutely gorgeous car

Used to see this round Dunstable,

Loose the powerglide badge and it's a winner.

I'm on it...........

This is fantastic. I really wish I didn't have money trouble. And space. And more than -1 parking spaces.

Once in a lifetime bargain !! I have never owned a Vauxhall ( Great British brand ) but a great old girl like this catches my attention.. I can't do it justice though, it should really be garaged between Sunday drives in the Country ... GLWS

No it shouldn't!  It needs using regularly for all the purposes a car was designed for!  Take it to work, go shopping, visit family, take holidays... however beautiful they are (and this certainly is) they're not Art!

Very nice! Those rear lights aren’t original though right?

Is this a 2 speed or 3 speed auto?

Would have had vertical light clusters originally

Seem to remember Powerglide is the two speed auto, after about 1969 or so they got a three speed. Not sure what the front seat is from (possibly PB Cresta?) but that's probably an FB Victor steering wheel too.

Lovely looking thing. For a second, I thought it was this one from the blue, but heavily played with. Vauxhall were getting it so right with their cars in the 60's through to 80's.

I do like a Cresta, did have a nice PB back in about 1986, no photos to hand though. So here's a couple of my PC with a slight rake and excellent flame job, sorry for appalling old photo quality. And no I didn't do the customisation, only bought it because it was cheap. Like a tenner cheap. Other 70s customs there for comedy value.

It's got a 'glide box....which may or not be original, wheel is Victor, front seat could be a P.B..........

Sorry, if it sounds like I'm knocking your car I'm not! It was just an observation and I may well be wrong on the year. Mine was a 72 and a three speed auto

Is that a recent picture?

Around a decade ago iirc. It was sold, crashed, and straightened over the following years. All gone quiet on it now though - needed repaint and no MOT history. If I was in the market, I’d so want to buy Colc’s Cresta, and get it looking like the one above.
