skattrd Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 £6 per ticket re-roffle or £350 cash price. I won the roffle for this a couple of months ago, and whilst I like it, I need to cut down on my number of cars, which I have been told is excessive. It's automatic, AWD, has blast furnace heating and winter is coming. The MOT is getting short, 27/2/19 and nothing has really changed from when I got it.There's a slight blow from the exhaust and the osr tyre has a slow puncture, I re-inflate it every couple of weeks, it doesn't go down that quickly. It starts, drives, goes ok and got me 30ish mpg when I checked mpgs. I find the seats really confy and supportive and like the way it handles, so one has firmly been added to my "want list". Mileage is 87k (I think, I might have to check)Location, near Bourne, LincsPrice £350 For the mat fetish amongst you, it has Subaru Impreza rubber mats in the front and boot liner at the back. skattrd Posted January 16, 2019 Author Posted January 16, 2019 I've received a few PMs which I'll reply to when I get a few mins, but to answer to some of the questions received via PM: Location (as above) near Bourne, LincsNearest train station Spalding or GranthamReg P542 FUJAll tyres matching budgets with decent tread. Apart from the slight blow in the exhaust and slow puncture, everything pretty much works as it should, including the adjustable headlights, which I find quite useful.I'd rather not hold on to it for a few weeks as I want to cancel the tax./insurance and move a couple more cars to my new place. gadgetgricey Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 Well I rang up out of idle curiosity to see if I could get a quote for this to be added to my classic policy.Asked for the price of the car, and said £1000, only to be told that that was too cheap and they only insure cars over £1500... New one on me, but just thought I'd mention in case anyone else was trying to get a quote. Looks lovely though. would defo have a few tickets. But should have done this last time as I could walk to Dy5....
loserone Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 "and how much is your MGF worth, sir?" "£1600". barefoot, Jim Bell, Dick Cheeseburger and 2 others 5
Jim Bell Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 *rings back and says £1500.01* Dave_Q, Dick Cheeseburger, Aston Martin and 4 others 7
Dick Cheeseburger Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 *rings back and says £1500.01*I'd call back with a valuation of £1500.02, just so I could say tuppence. I fear I'd struggle to include the words bag, pigeons and feed in the conversation, though. Glwts- these will never be any cheaper, and are another of those cars that will be virtually extinct within a few years. Wingz123 1
purplebargeken Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 Fab, so everything that is owned on AS or is coveted by AS is now automatically worth £1550 as an absolute minimum. Yessss!!!! Aston Martin, Tamworthbay and Ghosty 3
skattrd Posted January 16, 2019 Author Posted January 16, 2019 I'm impatient to shift this, so what are the thoughts on a roffle? £6 a ticket? It would remain for sale until ALL tickets were sold though.
bramz7 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 I really want this but can't get to it in a reasonable timescale. As such, two randoms and #7
SRi05 Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 For some reason the train is a fortune for this weekend going down that way so I'll have to bow out unfortunately, I'd have had it otherwise but it's £100+
Dan_ZTT Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 I didn't win it last time, so I'll have a random again

ruffgeezer Posted January 16, 2019 Posted January 16, 2019 Hmm, this would mean I could jettison the freelander...
