It's our 17th anniversary so what better way to spend it than trapsing a most of the way across the country?

It's far too early for this...

I'd just like to pour cold water over the excitement building up here.

Not as much cold water as I'll be pouring into the car later but still...

Hmm, cryptic.

I'm guessing a petrol rcz with a broken thermostat housing.

1945 Riley RMA saloon?

Caddilac Eldorado?

Good luck!

I don't know why, but I'm guessing a Kia Rio with a dented wing and leaky radiator.

That's the Stansted train.

Are you bringing a diesel Tagora back from France?

This thread is out of date. The collection is from March.

Or it's in the future.

Either way, sounds like princess is a synonym for timelord

Obvs Craig is driving it back. Or at least I hope so - he celebrated by driving off in the wrong direction, and as I type this has just driven past again...

^^^ No, I think he is just taking a look at that Blue Mk1 Renault Laguna estate parked up by the Premier store at end of the street.

Also, hoodie has got that 'caught on CCTV' look on his face

Oh it's got an anti-leak so the dryness falls out on the floor underneath!

Craig you hero!

That's the second time you have rescued the car :-)

Good luck!!!

It ran him over the first time round so I hope it's more appreciative this time round!

If I ever leave the maze that is Bristol!

Thanks angle, absolute pleasure to meet you. The inability to follow directions is nothing new.

Currently done 16 miles and stopped to pull the Ariel up and by a hat.

When's the flatbed booked for then? Or has he got a water bowser to top it up every 3rd lamp post?

All I can say is

You Fool! :-)

Well done that man, good luck on the journey home, hopefully not toooooooo many water stops!

Only 200 miles from Bristol to here; I think Angle said it dumped all it's coolant in 2 miles on its last trip :-P

Watching with interest now I'm back from chod viewing myself; I'm on standby to take Dog The Princess and Cat The Princess to the vets if Craig doesn't make it back by 4.30!
