brownnova Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 We’re up for a FoD camp potentially. It’s the Friday we break from school tho, so we need to decide between afternoon drinks and travel Saturday morning or travelling down Friday and camping... beko1987 1
beko1987 Posted June 10, 2019 Posted June 10, 2019 I am, the kids won't want to do the show and ive left it too late to do on my own. A bigger plan is forming though in that eva really wants to go camping and this seems a very safe 'my first camping trip' location, if she wakes up screaming in the night I can leave the tent where it is and be home in 20 minutes... If enough people are coming just to camp I'll be there earlier! Chris has a big gazebo that I've assembled before, so if it rains we can have somewhere to sit. We could make our own festival of the unexceptional... CGSB and Bucketeer 2
Bucketeer Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 It may be a positive or it may not but I'll definitely be there camping in the FoD, for reasons obvious to some. CGSB, catsinthewelder, beko1987 and 2 others 5

kirton Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 Shitely probably required for Krujoe's frying pan: 1. SF19 (or generally Exeter area) to FOU 2. FOU to Chumley and then possibly more onwards until delivered I may get to FOD for FOU but my wife is having an operation the week before so I may be needed at home for delivery of tlc
davidfowler2000 Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 I too also am doing FOD and Chumly is likely
brownnova Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 It would be well travelled by then up to Scotchland and back.... maybe we should see how well travelled we could make it.... and how many hands it could pass through on the way... davidfowler2000 and BorniteIdentity 2

Bucketeer Posted June 11, 2019 Posted June 11, 2019 I can take it from the FoD to Joe's house. It's a bit boring, direct, and short-winded I know. JohnK 1

Likewise, '88 Sunny has been accepted for the concours. Now means I've got to make more of an effort to get it ready, which to be honest it does deserve. If it made it to TQ1 I could drop it in a pub or curry house in Bradford of Joe's choosing.
quicksilver Posted June 13, 2019 Author Posted June 13, 2019 Maxi didn't get into the concours but was selected for the Anniversary Class. Not sure what that entails as it's new this year. Six-cylinder 1

Sounds like a good reason for one of our train trips to Torquay and a trip on the Brixham ferry. Should be easy to spot me with a small frying pan in my hand busmansholiday 1
