To be fair Halewood (the village) is further away than Speke(Which my phone tries to auto correct to Dog shit)

 

And Hunts Cross Station is closer to the factory than Halewood Station and has a more frequent service.

 

So whilst it's always been known as Halewood it's actually not.

IIRC these were Beta Coupes that Lancia had stuck in a field because the couldn't sell them and they were named HiFi.

 

My father had a series 1 Beta 1600 saloon that was recalled and crushed. Undaunted went straight out an bought another - bless him.
