Mally Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Ahhm oot as insurance for the lad is a whopping £1068 For a fecking NIPPA?????! Don't know how old your lad is, but insured and on the road for less than £1,500 is quite reasonable for some. Datsuncog, sutty2006 and Slartibartfast 3
Kiltox Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 When I was trading and regularly bombing about in various fucked shitters I always liked having a little cheap low litre beater kicking around, taxed tested and sitting in the corner of my unit to get me out of trouble. Something you knew would give very little hassle even sitting for months untouched. bASe 106 or something. This is perfect for that kind of thing, absolutely brilliant. BorniteIdentity, Slartibartfast, The Moog and 2 others 5
The Moog Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Going to have to go and rummage down the back of my sofa to see if there are any pennies - after all a broken diesel estate car can only be replaced by a bright yellow buzz box. puddlethumper, Jim Bell, Slartibartfast and 1 other 4
Datsuncog Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Don't know how old your lad is, but insured and on the road for less than £1,500 is quite reasonable for some. True, that. I was paying more at the start of my driving career 20 years ago for a 1256cc Viva HC. Running something like this wouldn't have been significantly cheaper for me.

Mally Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Never put your kids on your insurance. One of mine had 3 bumps in the first year.I paid separate for them and made him pay the extra after the bump.I don't believe in full time Students having a job. When are they going to drink?
Matt Posted April 11, 2018 Posted April 11, 2018 Ahhm oot as insurance for the lad is a whopping £1068 For a fecking NIPPA?????! Whoever it was selling that silver Nippa with the stripes and replaced seats on here was having trouble shifting that one for the same reason. The insurance was stupid on it for me at 25 compared to my 2002 Swift, no idea why.
red5 Posted April 15, 2018 Posted April 15, 2018 Were these online quotes, or actual face-to-face (phone as well obv) ones? just out of interest
