I was looking at the BBC's news website earlier, and looking at this page regarding the traffic-chaos in Oxfordshire, I saw a 'proper' Range Rover being used as a motorway escort car.  Unless this is an old library picture (I don't think it's that old, given the age of the other vehicles in the shot), this must be one of the last of these that hasn't been superseded by something rather newer.  Like a motorway patrol Discovery 3.

Whereas elsewhere in Europe it may be Valentines Day, I am currently 1/3 of the way through a 24 national celebration of the grape in Bulgaria, featuring all of it's alcoholic variants. Some/many very strong.

Current condition - Perilous.

Future prospects - Dim.

I have also agreed to be interviewed about my travels on Bulgarian TV in the morning (with undoubtedly the mother of all hangovers) by the best friend of ex-Miss_Bulgateer, with the interview being translated by the aforementioned ex-Miss_Bulgateer ('cos my Bulgarian isn't understandable enough apparently). I may mention AS.

My life is strange at times.

I like strange.

That's my big grin.

I genuinely hope everyone here is/will be as happy as I am. /hippymode-off

Well done that man! Shame you have moved,I could have done with the vulgalour touch on me corsa

Your Corsa appears to have an electrical problem.  I'm better at fixing things with hammers, soap and paint.

Private escort vehicle? That's on the m4 anyway

One of the websites refrenced the crash with a stock picture of the M40 at Beaconsfield, about 25 miles away from the accident...

SWMBO went into Aylesbury this morning to get her glasses fixed at boots. Said the traffic was fucking mental where they were emptying the m40 into Aylesbury and the sat nav sheep twat arseholes (her words) not knowing where they were going...

"Mine was annual restraint training, so plenty of activity."

Was it in preparation for lent?

I meant a damn good wash and scrub up on me motor, bumpers should be black not grey! I'm just a lazy arse when it comes to cleaning. I'll wash cars but that's it.

Easiest fix ever earlier on today.

Took the Nissan shopping earlier, which involved moving the box of assorted emergency tat from one side of the boot to the other to accommodate the lettuce boxes of food shopping. Anyway, the next time I went to lock it, the locks bounced back unlocked again. Bugger.

google for a fix, almost no info on central locking (insert key type, not remote) so went to have a look at it. I moved the box to the other side of the boot, where I usually lives and propped it in place with the 'special' bit of wood. Wondered if a wire had been trapped by the box having been moved to tried locking it on passenger side. IT WORKS! bloody hell, chedcked it on the drivers door and it worked on there again too.

Massive result, cheap and quick!

I found out today Kuga means "plague" in Croat, I wondered why there weren't many Ford Kugas about. Either that or they're crap, maybe both.

Passed a lovely 70s roller earlier, quite literally got a semi it was so lovely. So did the guy in the Mondeo in front of me, he had slowed right down so much I nearly went into the back of him...

Looks Sierra, yeah.

If it was a 3-door, some riggerbooted Stella drinker would be turning it into a Cosseh right about now.

Small_Pillock_Replica has found an app called 3D Tuning on Android. It's basically the bit he loves from most racing games, which is changing the appearance of cars. First glance it's all bloody Porsches and Lamborghini and whatever. Boring.

Then he shouts over "What's a ZAZ?" - OK, I'm in. Still mostly modern toss but it's a Russian app so clearly it's biased towards what they see around.

And yeah, naturally you can "Improve" your ride by selecting bodykits and stuff....
