Gutted you've sold this, was trying to get the cash together but didn't want to say anything until I'd sorted it out  :-(

That's a shame, it was a genuinely great car would have been nice to keep it in the club but since I only had a few more day's insurance before I had to SORN it I figured I best pull my finger out. I'd certainly recommend them to anyone.

Now lets see how much of that nice wodge of £20's I have to spend getting the Celica's brakes fixed

my fleet insurance policy has come down £200 this year! That means I can do a deal with Billy's 205 against my 306 convertible.

Sounds good to me!

Mother in laws granada just got another 12 month ticket needing only a rubber boot to get through - not bad for an F reg car.

It did however get a couple of advisories - I found a few days ago thaf a repair on one of the sills had rusted away again, not having time to repair it a judicious application of Hammerite saved the day until I can repair it properly - which won't be today because it is pissing down.

Got my puncture fixed, was apparently borderline as the screw was fecking MASSIVE. Luckily the guy did it anyway. Definite grin.

I like the Angel's local name - the Gateshead Flasher.

Also commonly known as "Rusty Rita".

last night when I came off the motorway I eased into a long liek of traffic following a tractor. I slipped in behind a VERY nice Mk1 Jag.

We pottered on for anouter 7 miles before the tractor turned off

At which point the jag fucking booted it. I kept up but was changing up at 4k with the turbo in full flow and blasting to 75 before I had to turn off, Mr Jag carried on going.

Made my night!

Met Mr Ramrod, received toys valuable collectibles and delayed him even further than he already has been today.  Yet another excellent Shiter met in person.  One of these days I'll meet one of you lot and you'll be an absolute arsehole and it'll make a refreshing change.

You can either stop at mine on the way to Len's house, or go there first.

Phone call from the boss. "Can we help another operator out? Just had a call, bus won't start."

Headed round to scene of issue. Grumpy Hearts fans. Coach lying absolutely stone dead. I used my ShiteySkills and jump started this bus...

Did they deliberately give that bus eyebrows to make it look depressed?

I thought buses & trucks were all 24v electrics, or was TEHMITEYVOLVO able to power it up anyway?

There are ways and means... the coach flattened the boost pack altogether but Volvo on to one of the two 12v batteries in the coach, sit for a couple of minutes, hold at 2500rpm and get the monkey in the coach to turn the key got it to fire.

Done it before with a Leyland Leopard (11.1 litres) jumped off a 1.6 Ford Focus, the Volvo managed it much easier.
