@bub2006: You're not aware of the Curse of Barrett-kamun? Probably best I leave it at that really, just invoking his name could be enough to break all the cars in my vicinity.

 

For those not aware of this, it can be expressed in a simple mathamatic equation; Barrett + Car = Fucked, or B+C=F.

 

The only car that I regularly travel in that doesn't conform is the beige Maestro, but I think this is the exception that proves the rule. I don't have to own the car, or even sit in it for this to take effect, chances are if you are coming over to see me your car will expire before it even reaches my house. Sometimes I only have to think about a car and it'll break. Last time Seth came round the Minx's screen developed a huge crack out of nowhere, a couple of days before the MOT, which turned into a comedy of errors that kept it off the road for several weeks. The last two times I went near Gary's Simca it exploded. The less said about my own car the better.

I am currently looking to get the house re carpeted as the one I have is gash. I went into a carpet warehouse yesterday and was confronted with this:

 

 

I did not know you could even get carpet like this anymore! This is just a small selection, the place is huge and all it seems to stock is 1970's styleee patterned carpet. Dirt cheap too. I have to do at least 1 room out in it. I am thinking of having a 1970's office/spare room with chipboard wallpaper and everything.

I had to watch it a few times to see where he came from. That is amazing, how the hell he survived to the point of getting up and dusting himself down is against all natural law.

 

Of course, it may some sort of modern computer picture/film trickery but it doesn't look like it to me. He really should buy a lottery ticket!
