What makes you grin? Antidote to grumpy thread

This time of year one thing that makes me grin is to find a hover fly that's got stuck in the house and is close to collapse, take them outdoors and sit them on a teaspoon with a few grains of sugar in a drop of water and watch them lap it up. They swell up, buzz a bit and off they go. Hovering. Ace.

mine for the princely sum of $950. 70 year lease and as much land as you want. 2 bed with a/c and running water.

If you want cheap shite storage you could do a lot worse than Northern France, my museum of bo11ox has a big barn and can store about 10 cars indoors, plus has a separate stone garage, sat on about 2600m2 of land, house is quite ropey like although it has a kitchen and bathroom now so is liveable (until winter). Estate agent reckons about 75k € is all its worth today which is less than 2006 purchase price + moneys spent so far. Its quite a trek to get to it like, no cheap Ryanairs available, but easier than croatia or whatever.

I started giving that a listen thinking 'it cant be as bad as CoF, will probably alright'. Unfortunately for me I was wrong.

Good luck to your mate though.

Not bad! Too much compress+limit for my taste. It scared the bejasus out of the hounds, tho'; now the living room stinks of fart. Must buy some new headphones...

Kay gets conditional offer for Gray's School of Art! So now choices stand at Elgin, Aberdeen or Dundee. Hmm, choices, choices. Well done!

Media player stops randomly crashing, so a half hour of bass gets played, which is approximately 29.5 mins more than I've managed all year. Finger tips intact, tendons complaining a little.

New copy of 'Kill Em All' received, may have to practice a bit more, before tackling that one.

Cup of tea, then bed before things can go wrong

The royal wedding.

I know it's 'uncool' to like the royal family and be proud to be British but I think it's great.

+111111. A GREAT day to be British. Seeing Her Majesty, The Armed Forces and The Royal Family in all their finery brings a tear to the eye and a swell to the chest.

(Mind you, I don't think I'd cope well if a knew 2 billion people will be watching my wedding!)

Totally agree! Im watching it on HD as well and it looks fab, I was bricking it when i got married in front of 84 people so god knows how it must feel in front of over 2 billion!

We'll have to disagree a bit on this then. I'm only enjoying it because of the daft commentary by some of my chums on Faceache.

One of Fergie's daughters was wearing a particularly ridiculous hat, and the Queen looked thoroughly miserable all the way through the ceremony. Apart from that I was actually quite impressed with the whole thing. And I did like the trees in the Abbey - an interesting touch.

I have admit to getting goose bumps earlier when they sang God save the queen.

I've been watching it on BBC One HD and i have to say the colours were quite amazing in Westminster.

I am pretty disintersted in the royal family, but I have watched the royal wedding all mornign and been loving it. GR8 WORK BBC!

I enjoyed the ceremony, the pageantry and the flypast too, to say nothing of Prince Charles turning up in the Royal 1950 Phantom IV 8) , but for me the best thing was the thought of stuffing the woman who interviewed Kate's hairdresser into my avatar and flushing her down the loo

Hmm, seem to have missed it.

I didn't get time to watch the royal wedding as my schedule was packed with "buying some petrol station coffee" and "watching a western on Channel 5".

Not watching it but just noticed a photo of them driving off in an Aston, reg on the front EBY 776J, needless to say it didn't show up on Cartell or DVLA. Doesn't really bother me however I did have to laugh that the live feed on the big screen in town went off earlier :)

I'm grinning because I seem to have TOTALLY AVOIDED seeing any coverage of the Royal Wedding! Been at work today and the roads were nice and empty. I didn't run into any of the dreaded street parties either :D
