Oh & yes, that large round bit is a slice of fried haggis :)

A good healthy* breakfast to start the day.

Nothing wrong* with that except a lack of sauce and beans.

*as long as you plan on doing several hours hard labour to work it off.

Brown sauce was used. No beans as there was plenty for me on the plate.

I'm in the gym now so hopefully it will get worked off too.

oh you caught one?

Sainsbury employ haggis hunters to save me crashing them the wrong way around a mountain so they fall over.

Pepipoo - what a great site.

Asked for guidance on my parking ticket I got from Nottingham City Council last week, and have now successfully submitted a challenge online. General consensus is I have them on a technicality, so should win :)

I wish to challenge the PCN as I feel that there has been no contravention of Code 28. I am guided by The Traffic Management Act 2004 Section 86 pertinent to special enforcement areas, specifically the definition of a raised or lowered carriageway as described at Paragraph 1.

My understanding is that enforcement can only take place where the carriageway has been raised for the purpose of:

(i) assisting pedestrians across the carriageway
(ii) assisting cyclists entering and leaving the carriageway
(iii) assisting vehicles entering and leaving the carriageway across the footway, cycle track or verge.

I do not consider from the photographic evidence provided by the CEO that either (ii) and (iii) apply here. Vehicles and cycles were able to enter into Clifford Street without obstruction, in spite of my parking location.

This leaves (i) assisting pedestrians crossing the carriagway. My vehicle was parked clear of the tactile pavement, thus enabling pedestrians to safely cross the carriageway (Clifford Street). The photograph taken by the CEO on 18 December 2018 at 15.45:34 clearly demonstrates this.

Could you either confirm exactly which part of the Act I was in contravention of and how this is conveyed to the reasonably observant motorist or confirm confirmation of the cancellation of this PCN.

Playing pictionary with Mrs fp and her parents today it was boys v girls, Mrs fp was drawing one for her mum to guess and she drew a rectangle with a chunky x in it, a rectangular biscuit and a boxy estate car, her mum didn't get the answer, I pissed myself laughing and said Scotland which was right, she knew straight away i got it from the car which was a volvo

I'm still chuckling that she isn't even on here and knows that Volvos represent scotland, the force is strong in this one

Just a minor thing, but I'd reword the last sentence - "confirm confirmation" sounds a bit odd.

There isn't time for another referendum unless Article 50 were delayed and the hard core brexiters won't stand for that.

Also, go for for it Geordi!

You're not wrong - naturally I spotted that after I'd hit submit on the NCC website. The rest was all my own work but the guys at Pepipoo recommended I ask them to clarify what part of the Act I'd breached and added the last sentence for me. Little did I know it was grammatical nonsense.... that'll learn me to be so trustworthy

I saw a Merc AMG G63 being given the full beans the other day, in the wet.

Seriously quick thing.

Spotting this slightly ropey Focus Millennium in the Asda car park cheered me up quite a bit. Makes a change from the usual sea of silver and grey.

As you can see, twas a bit wet. No wet carpets though, so ripping them up was the last chance saloon for getting to the bottom of the boiler pressure loss issue.

Wandered into a pub in Essex last night to be greeted by good beer at a very reasonable price, a friendly bunch of customers and a not half bad Elvis impersonator. Makes up for an otherwise slightly poo Christmas marred by illness :D

You say you 'spent some time doing this' then posted a picture of a turtle. Is that a local custom or just a fetish?

All the houses on the estate we moved into - new build 1978, had underground copper pipes that had corroded and leaked by 1984.

Every house had to be re-piped!

Bit of both ... :-)

Context helps ...
