Is the term Bagger short for "Bag-a-shit"?

I thought it was a person of the opposite sex who's head you have to cover with a bag because they are so ugly when you are 'doing things' to them.

Having a car with a cassette player has really reopened me to all those gems from the late 80’s that you’d probably not bother listening to if were the CD, you’d skip to all the familiar stuff. Classics like ‘Everyday is like Sunday’ by Morrissey or ‘I don’t want to go on with you like that’ Elton John. Anyone care to guess which tape I’ve got on though?

I've been home from work almost 10mins & Jura Journey is my new favourite Scotch, it's damn smooth & smokey. I will be buying this again when my stocks run low.

 

Rude not too as I'm on call tomorrow so can't drink then.

Drove the Buick to Reading today as we are spending a few days at the other halfs parents house.

 

So many people stared at it on the way here. It's quite something how slow it initially is off the line, but it builds up very quickly. Overdrive makes it seriously quiet on the motorway too.

 

 

I also saw a really ropey Belmont on the drive here!

I don't think I've ever had a car that hasn't had a cassette player. Except maybe the K70 - that had a push-button radio.

What was the feature that Blaupunkt or was it Philips used that could detect the gaps in the tape so you could fast forward to the next song?

 

(Came across it once circa 1988 in a Cavvy SRi)

Track search? I had that on a few headunits too. It only ever worked on new tapes as once they got old & hissy it picked the hiss up as music.

For those that haven't seen it, Steven Seagull takes on a group of nuclear terrorists posing as a rock band. the terrorists get themselves hired for a party aboard the USS Missouri, a battleship en route to Pearl Harbor for decommissioning. They plan to steal the ship's nuclear arsenal but haven't reckoned on the intervention of the ship's chef, a decorated former Navy SEAL.

I had AMS on a top end Ford 6000 unit with the multi hanger on it. It didn’t quite work like CD would.

My colleague's son is broadcasting on Radio Kent this evening.  I'm really proud for her and him.  Just fantastic.  He's always wanted to work in radio and he's a hard-working, pleasant and intelligent chap.

Right, sorry, I know it’s un fashionable on here’s but the grin is it’s a Christmas.

 

Had a great day out with good friends I haven’t seen for ages and had what can only be described as a skinful. Now at home, had a belly full of takeaway and cuddled up with AlfaFemale.

 

Tomorrow will be spent with friends and family and a fair few libations of the alcoholic variety. I know others have a reason not to get into the festive spirit but I love it.

Love my p9, the Leica camera is spot on. Upgrade in May and i going to be get a p20 too.

I have a P20 pro and it's great. Had a p9 before and loved that too.

Knocks spots off of Mrs Sills Iphone shite.

The most annoying thing is they taken the finger print unlock from the back (where you naturally pick it up) to the front like the iphone and its a bit shit.

Just do not go to the  centre at night. I used to live there and am a shamed of what has happened.
