My mate once sold a Rover SD1 to a geezer who came to dolly it away with an Eagle Jeep with a 1600 pinto!!! He would not tow it 'forwards' cos of the risk of kanckering the Rovers gearbox. So he had it rolling on its front wheel instead. The Rover would not roll straight with the ignition lock on (it locked the wheels at a slight angle) so he left that off. he got about 1 mile before ringing my mate back in a panic to ask for help after having the inevitable accident! What a fanny.
