Your name and signature make that post even more concerning.

Yeah, off-colour jokes are not normally my thing, but just sometimes, when there's a juicy half volley outside off-stump with the covers vacant...

Lame to fame:

On Saturday night I got talking to a very nice Canadian lady whose husband was 'in the top 6 people at GM' and was working at the plant in Ellesmere Port. I probably should have lynched her and said AVAS or something.

People talk about fate and all that, but what are the chances of being thousands of miles from home and finding the one person on earth who likes Vauxhalls?

Meanwhile, on a Canadian forum...

I was in a quaint little English pub, and this guy came over and started sniffing the air. He said something about being able to "Smell Vauxhalls" and started talking to me. I tried to fend him off by saying my husband was a very important man but he just seemed to get more excited.

He had a fluffy dog with him who looked a bit embarrassed. He asked me to come and see something called a "lockup", I refused, he put the little dog in a basket on the front of a bike and wobbled off down the road.

Volvo NZ have started a new sales campaign.

Buy a new Volvo and get a personal tour of the Volvo factory

That's the one in Sweden.

It makes me think of the word Hoover, but fortunately very few people buy Volvos here, so far !

Looking out of the office window to see a blue Ford Cortina mk4 towing a trailer carrying a yellow Hillman Avenger estate!

I think you missed Bart's Jerk Paste, which wouldn't have been too far away either

THis was causing a hold up on the way home. Seems like even this Dubber has realised it's too low

I will be giving my consultant a lift home at 10pm tonight.

Her electric garage door broke in one of our recent power cuts, and her car is stuck inside.

Talk about first world problems.

Teamwork by Autoshiters- great to see shiters getting a plan together with joint collection/ delivery trips. Robt/sixcylinder/johnK have managed a 3 way deal that matched cars, shiters and transport. Top Work fellas!

I very nearly had to make one of the classic ebay non-purchaser excuses

I was looking on ebay and one of the pups (who obviously has excellent taste) nudged me when I was looking at this

Fortunately there is the second bit that says, review and confirm, so I was able to go back and did not buy it now

One of our customers at work today was convinced a full size bale of hay would fit in the front luggage compartment of her Porsche Boxster. It didn't

I laughed at a woman in a very battered Ka driving out of ASDA yesterday because of the full size hay bale inside the car.

It was quite something. It was squashed from OS rear to NS front, and she was driving with her shoulder on the window and her head almost touching the screen. The whole rest of the car was full of hay.

Living the dream.

Parked in the car park of a casino 1200 miles from home.

Apparently unrestored with amazing patina.

One of our customers at a place I worked in Sweden turned up with a calf and a kid (goat) in the back of her mini.

Her and her partner were preparing a huge presentation for the king.

Calf and kid were not part of it.
