He was a c section baby, like eva was. So an appointed day, nice and easy. Means I can tell him that he was not born, but extracted.

Well wishes to one and all on the new little man.  Just like changing a bag in an Electrolux.

Faith in humanity restored somewhat today when three people (one aged 4) came to view the house and were just really, really nice.  Like, genuinely pleasant human beings to socialise with.  They were having trouble getting a taxi to collect them so I ran them home, they were that lovely, and I refused the petrol money offered because they just made me feel so good about being a human being.

They also decided our house was worse than their current house and would keep looking.  So that was good too.  Up yours, shitty landlord, no nice tenants for you.

If I were a woman I don't think I'd have the patience to be pregnant, I have no idea how they put up with it.  Be much better if you could just, I dunno, let them gestate in a box under your bed or something.

I keep telling myself that she wont be the useless, moany, fat, grumpy bastard she has been, but we all know that's just wummins (our 2 resident wummin aside)...

Bloody meriva threw its oil light on during the drive home, which was fine as Amy normally gets 3-4 days out of it before telling me when it usually comes on, her mum spotted it and asked if I wanted to pull over/wont the car blow up/should it do that etc...I kept calm (that should be in the grump thread, but meh).

Got a mate driving me back tonight so he can come see, I'll take the ZX tomorrow as everyone visiting tomorrow can drive themselves and I'll grab some oil from asda on thurs/payday. Have done 133 miles in 2 days though, it never does that mileage. Hope its ok...

My grin today is meeting Colino of this parish, a thoroughly decent chap, nice doing business with you sir!

Nowhere on a par with the arrival of a new human being, but, my grin is the yellow car is now with me. I remembered them as fun to drive and am pleased to confirm that it was not a rose-tinted memory

I don't think it will be my daily as I have the Land Rover for that and it's a bit awkward for me to get in and out of it but once I'm in it it's like a road going go-kart.

Bit of a mean grin here....

I have posted my misery on the Bentley forums and was having a groan and moan about how much my fucker is going to cost me, then another chap posted. He had booked his similar car into a main dealer and told them to ' do whatever needs doing'....

£15184.00

Ooops!

Absolutely spot-on. Dealer sticker fitted in the correct place in the window (at a strange angle as it was originally) and plate will be fitted at t'weekend. Excellent guys to use. Verdict = MEGAHAPPY.

Have got a Hotcup kettle that boils water in 45 seconds. Started leaking last week so I emailed customer service.

Now have got a new kettle winging its way to me by courier. No fuss no worry about reciepts. Mega pleased

What do you need to ask for for the correct pre 2001 font?

I just asked for an old-style number plate to match the front that's all.
