Just discovered I was elected to the parish council last Thursday. Not quite sure how I missed that...

I got voted on to my parish council without me being there as well. They were in need of anybody that would turn up so they would have enough attendees at the meetings to make them quorate and I only live 5 mins walk from the church.

Driving round the Norwich ring road yesterday evening, I was treated to the sight and, more to the point, the sound of three E-Type roadsters participating in an impromptu traffic light GP.  E-types normally hold limited interest for me as they're another car I'll never be able to afford, but fuck me do they sound nice when given the beans.

So that's how Scottish farmers get their fields plowed so quickly, I love how the car filming 40 odd seconds in was a sierra with low spec clocks

Kerpal Soundboard for Android.

You kicked my dog. Blast from the past that is!! Forgotten all about that. I got that from a colleague in an email about 15 years ago...Hilarious at the time...

The days when 95% of work emails were jokes, pictures, and prank calls....

Finally got my XM V6 video completed and uploaded. What an awesome sound.

I'd always wondered if the XM V6 engine sounds in the Ronin chase were accurate. Now I know. Thanks :)

Today I tried to hire a van as I'm still in the process of moving. The bloke in front of me got asked "are you moving a dress?" He responded "no just some furniture"

I'm glad it's not just me who deliberately mishears things

Watched a Clio slammed down to its bump stops negate a 1 foot deep pool of water at the bottom of my road.

Much steam and calamity appeared, car is still there, 6 hours later pushed onto the verge. Fools!

Good short review, enjoyed that :)

At 3:55 - what are the first two buttons from the left on the top row? Excluding the LED..

I have absolutely no idea. My car as the left-most button, which I think is related to the alarm - which needs resetting if you disconnect the battery. I think. My boggo XM doesn't have the other feature. Whatever it is.

Thanks for the feedback though folks. They're challenging things to do (I ballsed up the editing slightly at one point on this one) but I do enjoy them.

Watch a 2CV get rebuilt in just four minutes!

Now, it must be said, there is some cheating going on. The front panels don't usually bolt all together in one piece like that (the headlamp bar is separate) and they appear not to bolt the engine and gearbox in at all. Nor plumb in the brakes...

Still, it shows rather well the sheer simplicity of the 2CV.

It's my birthday today and the wife treated me to a buggy safari. Got to tear round trees, off road courses and muddy puddles in a 300 cc buggy. Absolutely loved it. Turkish Weather made it a lot better and driving through the river cooled me off

First meeting last night.  Not remotely 'tribal' (politically speaking) and not too much like Dibley...  :D
