I never fail to be amazed at the blind faith with which disintegrating Sprinters are driven, flat out....They are the new Cortina Estate (the only vehicle my traffic-cop Uncle used to say overtook his jam sandwich BMW in zero visibility and six inches of rain....)

After a long and colourful succession of tatty Puntos and Rover 25s,

my gifferdom bordering next door neighbour has now outshited himself.

In fact, he upped the ante suchlike, that I now find myself in zugzwang.

I've been wearing my new 'Ipswich park & Ride' clip-on bus driver tie to work today, every meeting I have been in has had 10 minutes lost out of it while folk check it out, have a laugh at it, ask why/where I got it, and think up 'amusing' work situations in which it could participate. Been in 4 meetings so thats 40 mins of work time that I have been able to chill out and bask in the glory of rocking the bus driver look. YES

That is supremely awful, I think only a City Rover would out-shite it! Is he keeping the ladybird stickers?

Are we not all in zugzwang here, isn't that the point?

I may have had to Google what zugzwang is.

Apologies if this has been posted before but this has made tea come out of my nostrils.

Just made it down to Winchester ready for a car meet on Saturday at Goodwood. This is the longest trip I have done in the car (200 miles) since dragging it out of the garage I found it in after 6 years off the road. This made me grin, how small does the Alpine look next to the Focus  8)

Princess lights have a squarer, shallower back plate, different retaining bezels and not so large a step in height between the lights.  So they're almost exactly the same apart from everything about them.

You aren't suggesting that I buy a City Rover, are you?

I don't think I've seen you post about that before? Got any more photos of it? I think they are great looking cars.

I must be behind the times MVS, I thought your A610 was a different colour.

The look of bemusement/horror when a co-worker discovered the Lotus alloys I've brought to the unit are going on the Princess.  He really doesn't get it at all.

What is that rover? Guessing diesel due to low redline. Never knew a derv rover could shift like that

It's a 220 SDi that's been mildly played with (decat pipe, EGR valve blanked off, K&N cone filter and a Roverron VP37 tuning box).  It's only running about 130bhp at the moment, but it has a metric fuckload of torque, which in a fairly light car means it goes pretty well.
