I've seen a few Maestro Mayfair's before,a nice plusher offering from Austin Rover at the time, with all models from the Mini upwards getting offered in that plusher spec.Looks quite nice

Audi flew through its MOT today without a single advisory.

Starting to consider buying a cheap 4x4 now :D

^ some serious lack of brains must have caused that! I had one of those and the fixing down bits were real heavy duty. and i can see no way you would not know if it wasnt right.

Anyone watch 'George Clarke's Amazing Spaces' on CH4 tonight? What that couple did with the old Bedford bus was superb, I'd defo spend a night in that and George's static should be class when it's finished.

Yup, what a cracking bus that turned into. Loved the lass living in the old lavvy too! 8) Can't help wondering how the restoration of his caravan will compare to that awful C5 programme.

I thought that was really good too. They took nothing and made it into something for not much , which I think is more interesting than what they do in a lot of the grand designs for meg £££. Never mind a holiday in it I'd live in it.

I recon there's some good stuff to come on that program too. You've got to hand it to that lassie living in the lavvie as it takes some foresight to think THAT holowed out pish hole could be turned into such a nice wee flat. I'm not sure I'd be that keen on all the folk walking over my roof mind.

Bah, you actually have to have a twitter account for that to work! :(

I still haven't worked out what Twitter is for. I did sign up briefly but I deleted my account after a few hours because I was getting industrial levels of spam from them.

I'm wary of these new-fangled ideas ever since I started a facebook account and found I was getting messages from a couple of people whom I new were dead.

It's where idiots and lazy newspaper reporters turn nouns into verbs.

It's been a long road but a few quid more from selling my shite on Ebay and I will be able to buy this:

Absolutely no idea what this is (or what it does) but if it makes graphics/decals let me know please.

A 40watt laser cutter/engraver with a 290mm x 570mm working area.

Would have to check on what you can cut as regards decals etc. as you are burning it - PVC gives off chlorine gas and hydrochloric acid etc.

Being 'an English couple who moved to Wales for a better quality of life and now have no money' just like the bus people, we had to wait a bit to catch it on 4OD as we still don't have a telly. T'was a good programme, though I always cringe a bit to see vehicles being used for anything other than vehicle stuff. S'pose preservationists can't save them all, and they certainly did a nice job of it.

Loved the toilet overhaul too. Hopefully some of this 'create your own space on the cheap' stuff can inspire us to just get the house we live in sorted...

Five litres of 10W40 on the bay for £12.90 including postage. Some brand that I've never heard of but it has to be better than the black slime currently sat in the Alfas sump, and I doubt there's a big difference between brands. All oil has to be is slippery and clean the engine a bit.

That brings a full oil and filter change and new wiper blades to just over £20 then a new drop link for £10 and excluding the slightly grotty paint work, radio code and cam belt in a few thousand miles the Alfa is up to scratch.

Heres the link if anyone fancies this amazingly cheap oil for a shite change:

Don't ASDA usually have some decent deals on oil? Sure I saw basic Castrol GTX or something in there for about £15 for 5L recently.

They probably do, but their advertising is so fucking smug and irritating that it makes me want to burn down their stores. Luckily there isnt an Asda anywhere near where I live, just a sea of Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys and the other one that I can't remember the name of right now.

I bought 10x 4 litres of GTX Magnatec 10/40 semi synth from Hellfrauds when they had it on offer at £15. If I'd waited for a couple of weeks, I'd have got 10 free sets of screwdrivers as well!

& if you were signed up to Quidco you'd have got a further 4.5% cashback from using your debit or credit card in store.

RESPEC' Billy.

Today I found a massively engorged full squash under the front seat of the 460 whilst vacuuming.

WHY THE FUCK HAS MY CAR GOT A SESAME STREET VEGETABLE UNDER THE FRONT SEAT?
