Yesterday a package arrived from Atlas Editions containing a Jag Mk2 police car and Austin 2J police van. Well chuffed with them as both models seem quite good :)

Nipped to the One Stop shop earlier on in the Innocenti, and a middle-aged chap in an H-reg Mini Cooper pulled in behind me, came over and handed me a card for the local Mini owners' club. This surprised me somewhat, as in the 2 1/2 years I've owned the car I've never once got any flicker of recognition from a Mini driver before. This chap seemed to know all about Innocentis, and said that it would make "an interesting addition to the club". I don't normally "do" owners' clubs, but it was nice to be asked.

Just got back from Battlesbridge, what a day! Some serious tat in attendance, pictures will be heading this way shortly :)

No Trigger (or his jumper) this year though, looking at his Facebook status I'd imagine he was still too pissed after last night.

The entire Seth household is getting very excited by this. :D

I managed to get my Rover to the Dean Castle show in Kilmarnock thanks to some frantic welding on Saturday so I thought you might like some of the Shite on offer at the show.

Ital 1.5HL. It was holding it's own next to a d-type jag and an Aston Martin Volante,

Foard Taunus. Did they sell these here as I've never seen one before?

The blue avenger had white furry seats, a white vinyl roof and was rolling slot mags on the front and steels on the back. All winnerz.

Autoshite goes on holiday. I spent a summer holiday in one of these CF campers as a nipper. Sheep got in and eat our biscuits.

This one was for sale for £4500. I liked it but not that much.

Which one's the real Jag?

Oh, how did that get in here? My SD1 still looking a bit sorry for itself.

I was at battlesbridge Dicky! i was booked in to show the Kadett but drank too much red wine last night (another story) so i only got there about 12pm until the end.

I saw your A35 but couldn't see you, I saw a Kadett B fashback which was exciting and some other top tat, just a shame about the smell of sick in the car whilst traveling there.

Ah, I was probably in the autojumble, or laughing at those hideous Escort "Cabs". I've got loads of pictures but yours are undoubtably higher quality, get them posted up! :D

Looking forward to all those show pictures from today :)

Today I rather enjoyed spending a couple of hours baffling Triumph owners with my Fiat, no Alfa, no what engine is it again? I also bought more Motorsport mags, a bag full from the mid-late fifties at less than a quid each.

Lovely! This Ital is very well travelled, supplied new in Zummerzet, then arrived in Derbyshire where it was then sold via Retro Rides to Patrick Ingham of West Sussex, and now he's sold it to someone in Scotland! I think the wheels are off a VDP Montego.

Allycats are now adorning the Imp, shod with correct-height tyres - at last, the speedo reads somewhere like true!

^ noice! Is that a Citaro hydrogen thingy next door?

It is indeed; I keep dropping hints that the Alcoa alloys would look bang tidy on one of the Nationals but they're not having it...

They would but your nuts are wrong! (yes and studs and hubs but you knew that)

Being gifted a mint Tamiya MO 2 Alpine A110 by a mate whose photos I sorted. I've wanted one for AGES.

This is great news and also something I should've done years previously! Any pics?

Making me grin slightly was seeing an absolutely immaculate Talbot Horizon in a carport outside an old giffer bungalow. "ES" spec, in gorgeous mid blue with (I'd imagine) a complimentary beige interior. Original dealer plates and sticker, reg BFC 720Y. I will take my camera and get a picture next time I'm over that way.
