Well depending on when it is I could meet you in Marlow at my mums with lots of water, I presume you wont want to go around the m25, so mums would be M40 to J4, then A404 then M4 all the way, and I'm sure we have a shiter reading way, didn't you buy a car off him? We could relay you home with water/kseal

I know 2 fantastic garages in Watford. Despite what the postcode says (Middlesex doesn't even exist really) it's about 5 minutes from my work and town.

Happy to assist.

Sounds like its just off the M40. I should probably look at a map...

Its just before or after the m40 turns into the a40

The undertray has been smashed on my Jagwaar by careless parking, and the remains have been occasionally dragging on the ground, scaring pedestrians.  I can't remove it as all the top-quality* English screws are rusted to orange blobs, so I drilled a hole in it and attached it to the anti-roll bar with a cable tie. Looks FACTORY.

A 20 or so mm core cutter with the centre drill taken out is good for removing knackered undertrays with seized fasteners . Just put the cutter around the bolt . It will dance a little til it digs in mind

my T25 camper was collected earlier today and I've already made a (fairly derisory) offer on a barely roadworthy beetle to use as a backup runabout after I get rid of my Abarth. I'm out of control

I've been getting moaned at a lot by the girls at work for not eating healthily enough (my diet is fairly shite to be honest).  Now even my cat has got in on the act.  She's obviously decided I'm not eating enough fresh food, so she's just been out and caught me a nice juicy blackbird.  Yeah, cheers for that puss.

Around the end of last year I had lost 19kgs in weight.

With courage, determination, strength of mind and real physical effort I have succesfully regained all of it. Mostly thanks to Pringles and CocaCola.

I got on scales at work... 5.10 at 101 kgs =bmi of 32.. obese... or sexyshiter..lol

AX in for an MOT today, fingers crossed. M223THG if you're wondering. No advisories last time, but it's started making a clicking sound on the O/S front when accelerating and going round a tight(ish) bend. Seems to be rust free though... suppose I'll find out.

The beavertail I'm hoping to book for Bluebird collection is having its MOT today. I'm rather hoping it passes so I can book it for a day next week. Only problem is the need to drive to London and back in a day. I think I'll aim for plenty of stops. It'll be about 480 miles.

It can't be worse than doing over 700 mile to Fife and back in a c15 dw. Don't worry!

480 miles, it will be a breeze compared with 2CV!

So the Fiesta went in for its water pump changeing and got picked up 3 hours later with it not being done.

They'd rung me to say they thought a bolt would snap so didn't want to carry on. Gave me the number for a bloke that came and does 'all the shitty jobs' if it actually snaps.

Gave him a ring and he's just been round. Says it's dead easy as even if it does break it should be stuck out but he thinks the over heating is a blocked radiator.

Its a never ending story of stupid cars here at the moment so it can bugger off as it's my birthday and I'm on holiday Friday.

VW LT, so almost as agricultural! Probably a bit quieter at motorway speeds though. Just. Monday is my birthday, and I can't think of a better way to spend it. Well, ok, I have some ideas, but it's still pretty good.

It passed with 3 non concerning advisories!

Not bad for a £170 car. Might clean it now as a reward.

Bought, paid for and delivery arranged all from the side of a pool in the Med. The wonders of the internet; but is it a force for good or evil? Will let you know when I return!
