I wonder if this is the one I saw around Clearbrook/Meavy?  Can't be too many of these around!

Yes it’s that one, was on loan to someone with horses.

Any swaps? Alternatively it could be swapped for £350

Meanwhile I got a bit bored of the 2005 golf mk5 GTI ; sold it.

I decided to return to my core values of buying crates that big bits of society would not consider owning, or possibly even travelling in.....

Nice, another 940 in the ranks!

Pretty sure I spotted the advert for this one where the seller said that he'd bought it for a friend some years ago, described it as "Filthy" and also said things like "Don't bother coming back moaning after you've bought it"? Deepest apologies if I have this wrong...

Knew I recognised it.

The LPT 2.3 is a great engine, loads of torque low down, a great comfy cruiser with plenty of grunt. I swear mine sometimes feels like driving a turbo diesel but without the racket.

Thanks I have been looking for an express van for a long time. My intention was to buy a trophy blue 160 express. I really have to think about this. Thanks again

The Mg van had the cam belt done 2 years/ 15k  ago and the aux belt and a new windscreen in the last couple of months. It had been a daily driver for the last 2 years with no FTPs.

I'm struggling to think of any business that would see a van that size as a great Investment.

Which explains the rarity.

It would be great to know what sort of businesses parted with cash.

Same sort of places that buy Fiesta/Corsa vans.

I could be wrong but I reckon there must be (or was) some sort of tax dodge by buying a vehicle that is technically a commercial vehicle, especially if you need staff to move between work sites (maybe with paperwork or smaller portable tools/items) that makes buying a normal car less attractive.

Thanks for confirming that. Worth bearing in mind....

As for this ZR, would love to buy it (and there is space now the Frontera has gone) but I need something much bigger for house move. Can't see the ZR coping well with a king size bed sadly.

For a while you could get Bini vans which sold for the same reason.

FFS, why do things like this turn up when you're no spare cash, no space on the drive, or even worse, no good reason to nip down to your place in Torbay....
