If @HMC is up for this I'll gladly bust out Photoshop...

I've had a hankering for a London Cab for a while but I don't know why - looks like I can live vicariously through this thread for a while :D

What the heck are those dash air vents out of?  I know I recognise them but can't place where from and it's bugging the hell out of me...

This 2005 LTI Taxis TX 2 Silver on numberplate LM05 HWS was first registered on Thursday 23rd of June 2005. The numberplate LM05HWS was first registered near Stanmore. At an estimated 12,707 miles, this car has done a lower than average number of miles for its age. It was painted black previously.

What time are you on til?

Sadly that's utter bollocks. Questions I'm usually asked are,

Which all night garage sells booze?

Is the 24 hour brasshouse open in Bootle?

Do you know any numbers active for beak at 3am?

Will you do a cash up front wait and return to Tranmere as I've got to "drop off some keys" to a mate. See above question for the real reason.

Back in 2004/5 I spunked over twenty grand on a similar TX2 auto, a 2003 Bronze spec and it was plagued with build quality issues LTI wouldn't fix.

Somewhat surprisingly I still see it around today, still Ford powered but with a manual box fitted.

To be fair, my TX2 was by far and away the worst built TX1/2 I've ever owned or driven. Rust breaking through at less than two years old and the steering damper problems made driving it feel like piloting a TR7 ragtop with severe corrosion induced scuttle shake. Utterly dog slow and struggled to hit 70 on the flat as well as barely managing more than 20mpg.

My fault for buying an ex Scottish cab that had been treble shifted for the first 18 months/two years of its life. Still much more reliable than the Reliant Scimitar Picasso diesel that was the Metrocab auto I owned though.

Can you name the truck with four wheel drive,
smells like a steak and seats thirty-five..

Canyonero! Canyonero!

Well, it goes real slow with the hammer down,
It's the country-fried truck endorsed by a clown!

Canyonero! (Yah!) Canyonero!

[Krusty:] Hey Hey

The Federal Highway commission has ruled the
Canyonero unsafe for highway or city driving.

Canyonero!

12 yards long, 2 lanes wide,
65 tons of American Pride!

Canyonero! Canyonero!

Top of the line in utility sports,
Unexplained fires are a matter for the courts!

Canyonero! Canyonero! (Yah!)

She blinds everybody with her super high beams,
She's a squirrel crushing, deer smacking, driving machine!

Canyonero!-oh woah, Canyonero! (Yah!)

Drive Canyonero!

Woah Canyonero!
