I'm slowly piling up a collection of high mileage motors:

Didn't realise the Subaru reached 202,000 whilst my partner was running it, noticed it now when looking at pictures from the weekend (crap photo, sorry):

Volvo 940 on 220,000:

Audi 100 on 217,000:

The BX is the highest I own, once it's back on the road I want to get it past 300k as somebody has already done the hard work and put in 281,000 miles:

Even with that mileage on it the XUD lump still starts in 2 to 3 turns of the starter which I always find impressive.

good going for an AL4 autobox, fantastic going in fact

still drives like it’s got 50k on it, zero rust at all at 19 years old

Discussion was had earlier about getting it to 300k.

@Popsicle is probably up to 333333 by now, it's been a couple of weeks!

Not quite that bad, I did take this pic yesterday though, so just under 5k in 16 days.

Or I could cheat and show my old Zafira on all the 3's!

It's actually nearer 335k now, but I've only just remembered to post here!

A very satisfying video, I always used to panic when drum odometers rolled over in case anything went wrong and it got stuck or shot up an extra 100k or something daft like that.

I remember taking my old MZ motorbike for a final spin after someone had agreed to buy it unseen if I could deliver. It developed a fault with the odometer, and clocked up an extra 40k miles in that hour. Fortunately the buyer believed me, and still bought it!

Another pleasing reading from the work van. Should have reset the trip reading to line up, but that would involve planning and thinking ahead, not likely to ever happen with me at the wheel.

206,000 miles in a non-turbo diesel ZX must have taken some amount of time...

*edited because I'm incapable of reading numbers.

I know this is on the piffling amateur scale here, but bear in mind it's my 1.3 van which had under 18k miles when I bought it 9 years ago.

I knew our Vectra was closing in on all the 2's and as Mrs Popsicle mainly uses it I asked her to grab a pic to put on here. So shit loads of panic about driving and remembering to do so resulted in this the other day.

I thanked her for going to the trouble as I really didn't fancy a kicking for moaning about the quality of the photo!

Same here. I had a Ford Orion that did 175000 and a couple of others near to 100 00, but with working at home , mileages are much lower. My 18 year old Subaru is only on 75000.

Nowhere near as high as most on here but my 06 grande punto 1.2 is closing in on 150k

For such a cheap basic car, I'm happy with that.

I think there's about 235k miles on my BMW 3-Series now. Doesn't seem like a worn out car, so I guess I'll keep it going for a while

Another milestone passed in the C4GP - 195k

It's the car I've driven furthest but only the 4th highest mileage, another 3k and it overtakes my trusty Cavalier  1.7td which did just short of 198k before the head cracked...

Is that four hundred thousand miles? On what?

Indeed. A 1984 Land Rover One Ten V8 station wagon. One owner clocked up a vast chunk of that taking it all around the world with him, while I’ve managed around a meagre 5000 in 18 months.
