I'd really like to finish the metalwork on the coupe and get it painted.  Hopefully be on the road in 2018.

After the mandatory fleet reduction is completed and the council unpleasantness satiated, I'm hoping to get the Y10 running properly, I'd also like to sort out the ex-selecta panda too.

Apart from that a 30hr contract at work would be nice (instead of 20) as would the dog not shitting in the kitchen.

I know one thing for certain, I'll be dealing with shit a lot in 2017.

Mine is very boring, just to keep the Xantia.

Get the rust fixed

Suspension fettled

tidy up the interior

Detail it

New tyres.

We shall see how much of all that it actually gets mind!

Id like to sell the Baotian for a small profit and buy a Chinese Honda Dax clone.

Oh, and possibly some more old 50cc bikes.

Mine also boring. Now I'm no longer working, I need to sell the XM as I rarely use it and the C4 VTS has been fine again after being repaired (was written off earlier in year).

Pull my finger out and get the landy 88" out of the shit shack before the asbestos bastard finally falls down on it.

Engage cunning plans to earn more money.

Moar sexy tiem with kinky girl, less running home to appease Ma.

it'll involve spending a few days in Telford whilst he does the work.

Oh gawd. That sounds terrible! If you fancy hopping on a train to Aberystwyth, I may be able to provide scenery that'll help you get over Telford.

Fix Corsa and hopefully make it much, much quicker.

Buy a Rover 75.

Find a new job.

Build that scale model Glasgow Leyland Atlantean for which I've had all of the materials sitting around for ages.

Take my wife and son to Majorca for a wee holiday.

sell ... Baotian for ... profit

Good luck with that ;)

Shite:

Finally fix or flog strange American market Honda step-thru that's been here for years...

Finally ride fifties Vespa that's been in our family since the sixties (I can now say for sure that this will happen).

Get the horrible Russian 2-stroke through an MOT and frighten people at classic shows with it.

Continue to trundle round West Yorks on two of the strangest machines Honda ever built.

Keep the dear old BX alive, and maybe even improve its appearance a bit!

Tart around in the CJ with the hood down at every available opportunity (in fairness, I do this one already...)

Try not to buy any more crap and CONCENTRATE INSTEAD ON VEHICLES I ALREADY OWN

To actually sell the bikes I buy to sell on, rather than insure them and ride them. My garage is now full and I'm sure work will soon cotton on to the fact I have three of my bikes stored there.

Get the Monet on the road - just needs new tyres and a flywheel cover - ready for spring

To buy an old American V8 (for a price Eddyramrod deems acceptable) that I will NOT paint.

And to retire.

Haha, good luck with that!  It'll take some pretty concentrated scouring of the listings, but it can still be done.  The 1980s would be the decade you need to look at, it's where your best chance lies.  Dodge Diplomat/Ford Crown Vic/Chevy Caprice, or derivatives thereof.  Any of them will give you the V8 and old-fashioned engineeering that you need, and as you climb up the ranges you'll get lovely plush interiors too.

But you probably knew all that already.  As you were...

I would like to own an eastern bloc car of some sort. Id like to own a cavalier or Carlton cd, and I'd like to go to SF17- wherever and whenever ( dates permitting ) it is.

Ideally I'd like to be smoking around in the XM before easter. All it really needs is some tax and the hydraulic pump sorted. I've now got three pumps in total including the one on the car so I should be able to sort something out.

After running it for a while I'll decide whether I'm keeping it - like most of you I have many itches to scratch and limited parking available.

I've applied for a single garage from the local council which should allow me another car......the biggest itches at the minute are X300 and MGF shaped.

Bike wise the Kwak will stay for now. I fancy a triumph speed triple but they are holding their value a bit too well for me

Coax the daily Loopoo through another MoT. Get at least one of my DAFs back on the road. Sell my smoll, sensible Seicento and replace it with something far more interesting.

Sell the beige cortina realistically, it never gets used as adding only 2 miles to the clock in a year proves.

Last years plan was to be debt free by may 2017, unexpected expenses mean that's more likely to be july, but this will still happen.....hopefully..... fingers crossed.

And then........i don't know really, sensibly i should start saving for a house (currently rent) but that really doesn't interest me if i'm honest and the thought of paying a mortgage into my 60's is frankly soul destroying.

I'm 32 years old have no kids, i'm single, and have no real ties to the area i live.....i'm thinking seriously about getting a small cheap camper and going on a series of long working holidays till i find somewhere i like.

I have wanted a Mazda MX5 since I first read about them in CAR magazine back in 1989. I think 27 years is long enough to wait for something so ambition this year is to get one.

It will probably be a mark one or maybe a two so this year I will be learning to weld!

Non car related I want to ... learn how to develop applications in Swift so I can build my own IOS apps ...

Sounds interesting, I've recently started working with Unity and C# with the aim / hope of producing a number of mobile games in the coming year.

Honda dax clone? I may be able to help.

Help away... Feel free to PM details and so on.

I should warn you however my budgie is very poor and currently sub £600 - there are two nearby for roughly this amount - one £595 and one £695

I hear you, but for me the appeal of a mortgage was paying a decreasing amount of money every month (due to inflation) for a set period, rather than paying ever increasing rent indefinitely.

Shite:

Get that Civic Aerodeck on 17-Coffees' parents' driveway back on the road.

Flush some new LHM through the Xantia and possibly sell / raffle it, depending on the Civic's progress.

Life:

Find new job

Get my own place

Try to just chill out and be happy

Other shite:

If I do get my own place and have the space / money, get a shite 4x4 and try to get into off-roading.

I want to get something small, 80s, and Japanese.

Not sure what yet...

Honda City Turbo, with the motocompo in the boot!

You can still get a good budgie for less than 600 quid I believe . They might even throw in a bag of millet. :)

Got a company car this year so the shite no longer has to be practical, frugal, or reliable.

Accordingly, I plan to purchase something impractical, thirsty and unreliable.  Probably won't though, I'll probably end up letting the wife run the Xantia into the ground, then be forced to buy whatever's available at the time, with a very limited budget, to replace it.

I tried that with a 500quid Ford maverick

Fun but fooking horrible to drive
