Its Autumn.

At all points of the compass leaves drain from green to golden brown and race like feathers to the ground. Where they die.

Pops WW rang me out of the blue.

"Son, I've found a car under a pile of leaves."

Me: Dont you mean in a barn?

"No, in the next village under a big pile of leaves. Under a big tree."

Me: Well that wont be worth owt. If only you'd found the same car in a barn.

"Its a BMW. I thought you might like it. So I bought it."

Apparently its drives like a brand new car, but does smoke a bit.   Going in for MOT this week.

Dire. At least the engine bay should be free of leaves, the oil leaks will have taken care of that problem.

Is that back wheel on the piss, or is it just the picture?

This also looks ace.  TOP RWD PURCHASAGE

My brother had one like that, the ABS light came on and it cost over a grand to fix.  Still, you might be alright, there's always a chance.

Duller than a dull thing on a dull day, but may still turn a profit with a bit of luck.

You need to invite vulgalor and Beko up to your place

My Lady had a 53 reg 2 door, 'twas a lovely thing to drive but got sacked off when it took a liking to supping oil. ABS/stability shiz is very voltage sensitive, make sure it has a good battery before mot'ing it.

Still have this one sitting waiting to go the distance and I could strip some bits of if you need owt.

I suspect this is exactly why my gaffer won't ok the purchase of a forklift for the workshop.

Nice!

The rear seatbelts are buckled up though, almost as if it'd gone for an MOT and failed then been abandoned. That's how half my cars look.

No love for these whatsoever.

I would have left it to nature...

Yeah I checked the history and it doesnt look mega bad.  I think he has his heart set on saving it, so we'll see how it goes.

Whoa there, back the f*** up:

You appear to have the only E46 in the world that hasn't got an airbag light glowing on the dash.

Mine doesn't.

Well played Sir. Sounds like your father is a top bloke. Should be fine with a clean. But I have to agree the wheel does look squiffy but again could be the angle. What could make it go like that otherwise?

I had one almost identical to that, although being a V-plater it was pre-facelift.  Wasn't a bad old bus at all to be fair - decent steer and bloody good on fuel for what it was.
