I reckon her maiden name was IL.

Hmmm, does anyone own the numberplate PUT 1N? An oligarch, maybe?

In Essex today I saw TO 04 RSY, of course "too arsy". Oh and on the m6 through Birmingham I saw O6 on a Citroën c1.

Always good to see an old local plate still in use in the same area, and a number 1 is a bit special. BBD 1 is a June 1939 Northamptonshire issue seen in that very county. I bet it's been on many different vehicles over the years.

Not sure why you'd want TEAPOT on your numberplate but there it is. I don't think I've seen a Focus saloon of this generation before.

When you are 9issed. Something to do with the start of a word and the end of a word, when we recognise the start and end we 'autofill' the rest. Not my style of cherished plate, but what the heck, it adds a bit of colour to a doom blue Focus saloon, a somethings gotta do that.

A library photo, but on the way home tonight I saw one of these in this colour with the plate M333 PSS - which I can only hope stands for M3 Piss

Sort of cheating because in Aus, you can choose your own plate for a fee if its available. On my old 64 bug Beetle was taken so I did the UK thing of number substitution:-

First and last time I had a private reg.

You'd have to know about Mia Tui handbags to understand this (Mrs BMH certainly does).

I saw a silver Corsa yesterday. 1CFW. Lovely old Lady driving it, told me that her Husband, a retired mechanic, was sold the plate for £200 when the owner stopped driving, about 20 years ago. That's my kind of dream right there. Not the car, the plate.

Saw A4 AUD yesterday, a plate that would look great on an Audi A4 but not so good on the Jaguar XF it's currently registered to. I bet the owner had an Audi before the Jag and transferred the reg even though it's meaningless on their new car.

Just dropped off a load of old shit from the garden at the local tip and as I was leaving a current gen Ford Kuga was waiting to take my spot. Reg number was MO15 SST.

Driven by a middle aged bloke by the looks of it.
