Out of idle curiosity I just stuck A1 into the DVLA mot history checker, apparently it's now on a MINI that is overdue its first MOT

Just saw a car I see most days but never in a position to snap.

F11 TOO on a 300C.

Thing is he has his taxi plate along the bottom of the rear number plate obscuring about 1/2 an inch , so it reads

FU TOO, which I like because I'm a child.

Fiona Fullerton used to own FU 2. I think it is still around.

I regularly see a Bentley SUV with "NO 1" not sure if a music mogul or just a no one.

Further to the music theme, here's one I saw in 2013

That 2CV has a registration date of 5/7/07, what's going on there?

Often used to see MAN1A on a Rover P5B Coupe in the late 70s.

Appears to be dead now.

Probably been imported and that is when it was registered over here

Saw 81LL (or 8ILL) on a Saab 95 earlier today although neither come up on the DVLA database, only caught a glance of it coming the other way mind you.

Still it pleased me to see it on a run of the mill car.

Sure I mentioned this away back at the start, but... A1 NCR has my initials in, and in the whole time I've known this plate (it's very local to me), it's been attached to an XJ of some sort (yes please), in a colour I would pick.

It's a standing joke with my other half that it's my secret double life!

I was thinking today Bout some sort of Autoshite number plate, one that you could actually buy from the dvla.

AS is easy enough but what else?

HO 51 ESS maybe .

Obviously D701 SWL and PU51 DRY have already been issued so don't bother suggesting them .

I saw something modern withUNO5HOE as the plate, I did wonder if it was supposed to be

UNO SHOE

Or

UNO'S HOE?

Me & my bro have UNO plates, but only mine is actually on an Uno:

SH12 HGF on a Yaris made me laugh because Autoshite. Original issued plate, kinda surprised it got through the DVLA censorship net. They're hardly going to issue the SH17 series after all.

Shame theres no Rovers that can legally wear that plate..

Wait til AU70SHT comes up. Put it on something suitably awful, but new: Hindustan Ambassador, Peykan, Lada etc...

Just remembered that the Niva I had apparently had a valuable plate on it because it ended "Landie" P129LND.  I never believed the guy in the pub when he said it...plus never had time to investigate it.

...must have been right as less than six months later it had a random Irish format plate on, so I assume they sold the reg.

I'll be picking up a Xantia with a nice one soon hopefully - don't know if the plate comes with it yet though...

Somewhere, I've got a pic of a local Seat with SK10UCH on it. I swore it should've been Michael Schumacher's...ski ouch.
