Vince70 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Since moving to Bexhill about 5 years ago I've seen this lovely metallic red rover 200 cabriolet parked up in one of the better parts of the town and have always wanted it and now it's come up for sale as I imagine the elderly driver has given up driving. The problem being I don't have the money to buy it or space so I know how everybody on here loves an early 200 so I thought I would put some pictures up which I took half hour ago. It's got a lovely beige interior and has only done 80000I really hope a Rover lover off here gets it the bodywork is fantastic condition with a small bit of lacquer peel on the back wing and the arches etc are in fantastic shape. And the hood and rear window look good as well.Mot history doesn't look bad either as it's not a rot box anonymous user, The Old Bloke Next Door, Aston Martin and 9 others 12
Rocket88 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Mr Wobbler to the Batphone.............................
Cavcraft Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Love that, red roof is the icing on the cake.
Vince70 Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 This car is made for mr wobbler..It's parked up just off the town centre so if anyone wanted it I wouldn't mind picking them up from the station. This car has nothing to do with me but I really want it to go too a good home as it really does deserve it
Rocket88 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Just what he needs, a ragtop..........................in Wales
dollywobbler Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Mr Dollywobbler does not need this car, attractive as it is.

Fabergé Greggs Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Oooh, I just bought a ragtop as well...
omegod Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Do the decent thing and give it a test drive and feedback rather than someone travel up for a bag of shite Six-cylinder 1

Six-cylinder Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 That looks a bargain, which engine? It does look to good to miss, vince 70 could you give it a drive for me/us? If it is any good and you want to borrow it for a bit I will buy it and tax it. I can add it to my insurance so it shows as insured but you would need your own 3rd party insurance as mine will not cover you. Cavcraft and Vince70 2

My neighbours have started calling me Bexhill motors which is quite funny as that's the local independent secondhand car dealer around this way and going by the plates that's who sold the car a few years ago.The reg looks like a Kent registration so it hasn't travelled far to end up in East Sussex if you want to phone the owner up though I don't mind looking over it and giving it a quick drive around the block but I'm no mechanic but obviously I will check for the dreaded Mayo for you.But it's got to be worth having as it has a rear spoiler lol. Never mind I can just catch a train and park it in a free lay-by near me! Cavcraft and Vince70 2
Vince70 Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 It's only a 5 minute walk from Bexhill station but I can pick you up from there if you wish.

BorniteIdentity Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 This would make a gr10 club car. Few people chip in and take turns on the few days of summer we have. 10/10 would time share. eddyramrod 1
DaveDorson Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 that looks delicious. This place has changed me... Cavcraft and inconsistant 2

Kiltox Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 That's a MEGABARGLooks in even better nick than mine which isn't half bad for the £275 it costIt will more than likely be a Kettle on an R reg, mine is
omegod Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 That's got I'll take 175 written all over it and I wouldn't feel embarrassed offering it inconsistant 1
Kiltox Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 My one doesn't have the spoiler - has that been added on or is it just a posh trim level?
inconsistant Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Wow that's lovely, fancied a Rover Cab when I ended up with the 924 as they're so so cheap even for a good spec and low mileage, but the Mrs thought they looked terrible and didn't realise she was wrong. Surely the most underrated R8.
Vince70 Posted September 13, 2016 Author Posted September 13, 2016 It looks like an autoshiter is going to have the car once he's spoken to the seller..I would say the spoiler is factory fitted as it looks like it's in a posh trim level. Cavcraft 1
beko1987 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Cor that looks lovely! I'd drive that to work and back in this heat!
EssDeeWon Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Blimey, £250 would buy that!! Looks lovely and a long ticket! Well bought Ken !
purplebargeken Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Eh? Not me sadly, though tempted. Hell yes.
EssDeeWon Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I thought you'd be all over this beaut!
