Looks like a decent buy. Nice posh colour is a bonus.

Only interior shots are through the windows...does that mean that the catch is, you don't have any keys for it?

Bloody hell, for £15 I was expecting it to have the structural integrity of a Rice Krispy bar, but that doesn't look too bad and could have cost ten times more than that at least.

A bargain.

However if the car was on gumtree I think potential suitors would moan about the bodywork - even at £15.

that is fuggin' hanging...

really, really miserable,

BUT

for £15 its BRILLIANT,

crap,

but brilliant

In what sort of a world is a running car worth only fifteen quid?

Unfortunatly a world where most people buy what they can't afford just to impress each other and then get into a constant circle of oneupmanship thus meaning they are always skint.

A sales rep was showing me his new Merc the other day and said why don't you get one to which I replied why when my Princess will be on the road soon.

That is absolutely ace, especially for fifteen quid. It'll sell well too being an automatic.

Top bombing! This is literally clinging onto it's last breath but will go forever because Micra.

I'm sure I've been to that Chinese discount store in Cheetham Hill in the past. There's a smiliar one in Denton that sells pretty much everything you'd ever need for pence.

Interior pics please. Or you just photographed old Mrs Baileys car over the road.  :-D

Mate, you don't want an auto Micra! Imagine driving your Cadillac, well it's the complete utter 100% opposite of that experience. Not in a good way either!

I do service and repairs once a year on one of these. It's a 52 reg 1.0 auto and it really does drive like shit! Absolutely gutless.

Saying that it's brilliant for the elderly dear that drives it.

I'm amazed that one cost £15. Where do you lot find these cars?! Spend a bit of time and money getting it going again with an MOT and there must be a few hundred quids profit in it surely.

I used to have full-blown RAC cover which entitled me (under certain circumstances) to a courtesy car (up to 1600cc) for up to 72 hours. The first time I availed of this perk, I struck gold and got something towards the top end of the scale, as they had no small dross available. I got an Disastra 1.6 estate.

Second time, I drew the short straw. I got a 1997 Micra Shape 1.0L 5dr CVT with 112 miles on the clock. No creep and was surprisingly nippy round that there London. Took it back with about 1800 miles on the clock. Suspension was a bit on the soggy side and I nearly stuck it in a hedge somewhere round Basingstoke, but I did get it reading a ton down the Marlow bypass from Wycombe.

Gutless? Nah, you just have to kick the dick out of it.

These are fuggin GR9!

Ma has one but it's a slightly older first facelift 1998 S-plate. She wants a newer one in Grey now which I said I'd look out fae. What are your plans for it?

If it were me, the bodywork would get straightened out, some original wheel trim chucked on, original floor mats/book pack and what have you, a service of the ending and I'd chuck it up for £'a monkey' or summat.

To be fair it probably more to do with it not being what I'm used to.

Getting out of a 7.0 auto yank, 2.8 auto Granada or 2.3 auto Volvo then into a 1.0 auto Micra, it's quite a difference!

The same old dear had an N reg 1.3 manual version before the auto one and that absolutely flew along. It was rusty though and then someone rear ended it.
