Not much to go wrong with the mechanics on these, but the bodywork will dissolve as quickly as your will to live once you've owned it more than 24 hours.

pictures in morning, plugged in my trusty vw/audi code reader, pre catysler, number 4 misfire,o2 sensor etc, light up like xmas tree,..

Do these all come from auction, small ads, or a mix?

Is it a mk5 or mk6?

I have a mk6 with number 4 misfire - it's leaking core plugs caused by corrosion caused by leaking washer jets

A Fusion problem too...(not with mine, fingers crossed)

The body deteriorates so quickly that you will notice the misfire less and less due to the reduced weight.

This was/is also a problem with the Mk2 Focus, particularly the 1.6 petrol - one solid way to prevent this is to install the plastic cover over the spark plug channel from a Volvo S40 that shares the same engine - not sure if it's the same for the Fusion/Mk6 Fiesta. Ford left the brass threads for the extra cover in the cam cover but probably decided not to spend the money on putting it on, probably deeming it a cosmetic frippery.

Spectacularly grim, and the accessories on the car just add to the appeal*.

Top work!

Even if it went horribly wrong, you could probably sell the rear lights for what you paid for the entire car.

Top bargain, hope she's a runner!

That's just fuking unbelievable! ! You have to be fibbing! ! You are a fuking legend! I was expecting and older model that's completely fuked! !

I love theshadows tales of bargain motoring. That fiesta is 1,000,000 times better than that blue Ka.

Surely that is worth more than £25 pounds, it looks like something that is worth at least 10 times that.

Unbeliveable! I dream of buying cheap stuff like this, fixing the problems and selling it on.

Cracking purchase, well done that man.

^Aye!

I learnt to drive in a brand new one of these, ergo they are still ultra modern.

Excellent work !

I remember being given one of those pushrod MkVIs as a courtesy car when they were new. It was as gutless as one would expect, but handled beautifully !

I paid many times more for my misfiring 04 plate 1.4!

It's in better condition but that's still an unreal bargain
