Finally got the Jag and Ignis. Jag hasn't moved in forever, and the Ignis has been on axles stands for a long time too. They might live again, but I doubt it

Whenever I see stuff like this. I usually like to jump on google street view and search through the timeline (if applicable) to see how the driveway used to look. Its surprising to see an unloved car once loved or at least in use when jumping through the timeline.

How do you do that?

There should be a box in the top left corner with a little clock and "street view". Click the clock and you get a drop-down that allows you to select each year that an image has been taken in that location

Just a random area so as not to give away the location of the cars

Thanks bud, will have a look when not on my mobile. Streetview for my house is way out of date. It shows my old Seat Toledo on the drive that I sold in 2010!

Yes; I'm not a Cashcow Connoisseur; I've heard that the Trim Clips holding that particular piece of Trim become brittle over time.

Because I'm all heart, I'm going to give everyone I know with one a Christmas present! Tape to hold it in! 😇😇😇

I bet the clips are cheaper than the tape.

Err can you leave a note and find out if that's for sale ? 🙈

Not all ways by where that is left but -

A - If I remember sure can.

B - Are you sure!

C - Wont leave the note on the car - I pictured it 3 or 4 years ago on a very nearby driveway. Note through the door may be quicker.

April 2017 - Morris Minor now sits in that spot.

  • 2 weeks later...

Here’s a little beauty that I’ve been keeping an eye on, in the local area.
been parked up off the road for some time, it’s sorned but no MOT since 2019.

interestingly - last week,  it’s gone! ( leaving some nice wheel marks where it’s been sitting for some time)

im hoping someone is getting it roadworthy rather than it having been scrapped.

From the look of the Tail-lamps, that boot *Edit* and the Plenum Chamber and Engine ECU is going to be full of water. Such a pity to see these cars rot away like this...

No MoT.

1.9 TDi, very useful workhorse if there's not too much wrong with it

Going by the history, it gets the bare minimum done for a pass each year
