I saw this and a picture of bits of electricity falling out popped into my head, then the word Hybrid spoiled the moment  :-)

The Almera N16 has been subject to a recall for the passenger airbag too - Ive just booked mine in with Chorley Nissan today to have it fettled. Something to do with the explosive charge getting damp and failing to fire - I dont know what years it affects but mine is a 54 plate / 2004

I like the Maserati one - why only the right hand door?

Posted

Rover didn't do recalls, faults were all part of the character building nature of ownership.

Toyota Proace recall, but no Fiat Scudo, Peugeot Expert or Citroen Dispatch recall. Interesting.

The best one was the Fiat 500 being recalled because it literally couldn't go up hills. Was on Watchdog and everything.

With the exception of "side stand may fail" my Triumphs exhibit all of the above problems.

Posted

Phew, that was closeit's only cars, for a moment I thought they might be asking for my licence back

At least it's only minor stuff like fuel leaks, faulty seatbelts and brake failure. Nothing serious!

"Was on Watchdog and everything"

Therefore must* be true!

Giovanni was on that side of the line that day, His sister got married the day before and he'd overdone the Chianti. Fakt.

Separate recall department for them, Billy...

My RoD did all of the above, but apparently there never was a recall?

Well mine definitely did this one:

Unintended vehicle movement

...and I have the paperwork to prove it!

I've driven a few Euro 5 engine mapped Fiats, they're shockingly awful. No power at all.

lol... "unintended vehicle movement". Are american vehicles designed to ftp?

I'm wondering if it is a euphemism either for

'The electronic steering may decide to steer you into a tree'

or

'The electronic handbrake may turn itself off'

I was thinking "vehicle not actually designed to move"...
