Pez cars will be so rare in ten years time don't know if they will be cheap shite. There will be a gap of about 10 years until everyone stops buying diesel when they realise they are useless. Thought of trying to maintain or fix a 15 year old diseasel is terrifying and a major inventive to earn some cash!

Really fancy a Citroen Cactus just so I can park two inches from people.

I had to comvince my workmate that the bubbles on the sides of a lorry load of cacti were not just protective packing for transport. He was staggered that they were actually being made and sold. Definite future shite. I can see em now on council estates with the rubber bits partially chewed off by dogs

Vauxhall Insignia. I'm betting it will be looked on as a bit naff in several years time when its fell out of fashion. The name also makes me chuckle a bit. When they are completely out of fashion, I'll think about one.

Suzuki Kizashi.

Pointlessly large engine, CVT and 4wd to further strangle the economy and increase undesirability and a Suzuki so not from a make with a track record for large cars. They're rare now so god knows how scarce they will be in twenty years time. Cast-iron future shite.

I actually saw a 61 plate today. A lot smaller than I thought they'd be - seems more Focus size than Mondeo

There's a Kizashi that lives near me, I think they look great. Chevrolet Cruze, true povvo BMW 3 series rip off, amazed the lawyers haven't been in touch on that one.

I think those Kizashis look pretty smart.

Stupid decision not to sell them with a smarter range of engines though - not just the 2.4 CVT on offer. If they'd stuffed a half-decent TDi in them then fleet and car hire companies would maybe go for them.

The humble Honda Jazz.

Most have giffer engines.

Most are giffer driven.

Most are giffer-matics.

No-one wants one as they're deeply dull, but they're made by Honda so will probably go forever.

I contemplated one due to these features...

Yes! Straight six 2 litre petrol, a more inappropriate engine for Europe it is hard to think of. All the power of a 2.0 with the economy of a six.

Shame they didn't stick with Daewoo's original name, the Tosca. The Aussies will cry into their Fosters when they realise the Holden Commodore will be replaced with this.

Several years back I was marshalling a Britcar race at Silverstone. The race was grim, but was made slightly better by a works Honda Jazz with what was purported to be a race-prepped 2.0 Civic Type-R engine under the bonnet. It didn't half go, and embarrassed some other machinery which it had no right to.

I think the Ford Fusion will be future shite especially with a 1.6 petrol engine with an auto box..

I can't see it going down the same route as the Sierra Cortina and Escort with a hefty scene tax and will end up being as worthless as a Ford probe or Cougar.post-9282-0-35540900-1429122467_thumb.jpg

I think the Copen will go the way of the Figaro in a few years.

Late 90's Hyundai Sonata V6 with it's odd Americanised styling and nothing goes better with grey than grey interior. Future chod? I think so, and I had one.

I know someone that has one of these, the best bit is that he must be in his 80's and he drives it with a flat cap on.

Probably won't be around long enough to make it to shite territory but a mate has one of these as his company hack. Got a run out in it yesterday and the sense of rapid acceleration in near silence was pretty amazing. I guess he'll hand it back before the agro starts when shiters are running it on the 600cc pez alone.

Hyundai Matrix. This is the only modern I know the name of. And sometimes I can't remember it.

It sounds nice at least.

I think those engines are SYSTEM PORSCHE, Daewoo poached a Porsche executive at the time.

Anything French and bigger than a focus, anything made by Vauxhaul, the new MGs as people have realised they are shite, BMW 2 series.
