After the trauma of the slippy clutch Celica, I've decided I need a replacement. I would like something sporty, fairly fast, able to seat four and must have current MOT. I've got up to £500 plus the Celica.

So. Anyone got anything?

there is a £450 Mx5 (with hardtop and mot) on Mx5Nutz.  I put a link in the ebay thread.

A rather poor looking 827 Coupe? 2.7 auto, leather clad thing. You needn't sell your Celica either. Will need a bit of cosmetic work. £300

Toyota Hilux?.

Budget is £500, Dave. Would that buy it?

MGF.... ah, 4 seater. Just ditch the other two.

I'd be all over Station's MGF if it wasn't for those pesky kids!

Dented 100NX I put in the tat thread a while ago? It has a T-bar roof...

Remember seeing that. Is it yours?

Just waiting for someone to get back to me about an Alfa GTV,too. May soon be sorted.

Oooo.... Ms_F might be interested in that (assuming sporty-shite doesn't want it due to the lack of rear seats).

I can't find the link, any chance you could re-post it?

John, I was gonna suggest Station's 'F' for your missus, it looks a cracker for the money. Why not?

Im off to collect new shite.

More to follow.

Blimey, where are you collecting it from?...come on man, we're on the edge of our seats here

Forgot that I hadn't installed photobucket on new phone. Then forgot when I got home! I'll get on it shortly, although there's only one photo so you'll be disappointed.

You can upload photos direct to here without photobucket, much easier when out and about.

I caught this...

To collect this. Which I photographed last night when I went to view it.

And then took he obligatory pez station shot on the way back.

It was less than an hour by train and only 30 miles awa, so pretty tame. I've been after one for a while and this just popped up on a Facebook buy and sell page. Phoned. Viewed. Negotiated. Bought. Easy as pie.

Verdict: cramped, but I like it.

Bloke in work has one, not sure what engine yours has (2 litre T spark ?) .. But his is the V6 and sounds nice.
It was that horrible shade of green, but had it sprayed white and looks 'da bomb' .

Good luck mate, hope it gives you many miles of pleasure

You have been awarded the autoshite george medal for bravery.

Anybody who spends £500 on an alfa has bollocks like medicine balls.

The rear seats are fine in a GTV if Verne Troyer is your passenger. Otherwise forget it

What's the handling like?

Unless I'm mistaken this is another Tipo platform car, so it should be half decent.

Are they not a 156 underneath?

Anyway, haven't had chance to throw it I to any bends at pace yet. I shall report back, but if it's anywhere near as good as our old 156 it'll be good.

Wikipedia says Tipo.

The 100NX isn't mine, though I wouldn't have minded if it was tbh. It's sold now.
