If you can fix the weather and it is still working no problem getting it out. Remember @Talbotbroke down in it and I had to tow him in with his Mercedes. Floatylight and chaseracer 2

I have used the meguiars, but it’s not the easiest to polish off. Autoglym show detailer is a bit lighter and if it’s really rained their aqua wax is good.

quicksilver Posted May 8, 2023 Posted May 8, 2023 It's a 1913 Renault AX. Amazing how fast things developed in the early years as it's recognisable as a car but the Oldsmobile that's only a decade older is still very much a Horsey Horseless carriage. Snake Charmer, RayMK, wuvvum and 6 others 9

That a 1995 Mini Sprite so colour is correct. However the owner has plonked on loads of accessories which are a bit questionable. Front Overriders, early type indicators on front, wavey Austin style grille, head lamp peaks, Cooper bonnet stripes, colour match group 2 wheel arches, white door mirrors, chrome wipers and arms, white roof paint, flag on roof, Minilite copy wheels and a big flappy patrol cap. The Metro looks so much better, but the Mini would also look a lot better if it was stock or done more to my taste. High Jetter 1

Six-cylinder Posted May 14, 2023 Author Posted May 14, 2023 Yesterday we went to Colchester to collect a good set of Triumph Herald wheels and tyres because the owner converted his car to minilites. Could this be the incentive needed to get Mrs6C's Herald 1200cc Coupe back up and running? LightBulbFun, adw1977, Dick Cheeseburger and 8 others 10 1
Six-cylinder Posted May 14, 2023 Author Posted May 14, 2023 Strange one today! Because our Allegro Vanden Plas 1500 was not quite ready from having extensive work done I decided to help a fellow Allegro member who had his Ankle in a cast, but wanted to go to the Allegro 50th Anniversary at Gaydon today and his car to be there. I went to Bedfordshire to collect the Allegro 1100 DeLuxe 2 door in brown and meet the owner and his son for the first time. He then trusted me to drive him the 140 mile round trip. I came away impressed by the car which drove very well and it surprised me at how well the 1098cc engine coped with hills. Carlo_Raffo_TDS, catsinthewelder, Floatylight and 4 others 7
