What shite is santa bringing you?

What stuff have you asked santa for? I have asked for a few things, among them a pair of water pump pliers as I have never had any and using mole grips to release hose clips is a PITA.

I would'nt mind a brake fluid tester (£10) and a brake calliper rewind set - you can get these for less than £20 now.

So come on, what have you asked for?

A new drill. Always handy for drilling out seized nuts etc. Was pondering buying a nut splitter, has anyone ever used one?

You can buy a brake fluid tester for a tenner? Are they any good?

Umm, I've not asked for anything yet but I guess it has to be peace on earth and goodwill to all men.

Although I'd settle for a bunk up...

You can - they are like a pen, not the hand held things garages use.

^^^lucky man. I will receive shit but no shite. Possibly a calendar of British cars I don't like. I don't mind as I have a continuous stream of shite related product streaming via eBay through my letterbox all year long.

Oh Yes, Christmas every day with Ebay.  I end up paying for my own presents anyway so I might as well do it all year....Could you not suggest an Autoshite Calendar?

Trolley Jack for me, my brother has got one - my days of dicing with the trusty* 'widowmaker' scissor jack when rotating wheels and whatnot will soon be over

I found out that I can get the flying lady on the rolls gold plated for £70 so time to drop a few hints

Yep bought one for £8 off ebay. Works well so far. A must for the toolbox especially if you change cars often.

Have asked for a decent head torch for working on shite and a set of screwdrivers in a case. I have a drawer of the buggers but could do with a complete set I can cart places

Used to get the BTCC DVD every year... supply seems to have dried up (??)... SWMBO doesn't do Webbie - just HighStreet - and cannot find it anywhere.

Gdaughter (... assisted by SWMBO) is 'on top of her game', however, have seen 1L Southern Comfort + tonics... hidden away  8)

Autoshite calendar, of course! How do I obtain one to send to myself?

All the bits to do the Mazda cambelt and water pump.

For what it cost wouldn't it be better to change the brakefluid if you are in any doubt?

Oh, and socks probably!

Only once, and it was from Halfords. Twisted on the nut, bending the shank part of it. So did the second one after I'd exchanged it. Between the two of them I got the but off though.

I've asked for some security bits-have nearly bought a set loads of times, but buying a whole set to do one job seems a bit extravagant, so I get by with the usual 'hammer a smaller one over it' method.

Hopefully some used vauxhall alloys for my not very trusty van, sourced from a popular auction website and paid for by SWMBO.

I make my own banana splits (don't laugh) but all the bowls I have are round, for soup or cereal.  I've asked for a suitable (ovoid) dish, but MrsR has been unable to find one, so now I'm looking myself!  If I do get one (or a set) she can wrap them up for me to open on the day...

Trolley jack is top of my list after using a bottle jack a few times. Hydraulic lifty tools are GR14

Oh, and overalls.

Santa has an aldi head unit wrapped up somewhere for me! Can't see a passenger wing under the tree though...

Ratchet spanners please, new pair of slippers would be nice as well. Alongside the old faithful page 3 calendar, diary, toothbrush, socks, hankies and satsuma wrapped in Christmas paper.
