Randomly traded in today, mot is until i believe end of jan, it has tax on the screen until feb, and as i havent been given the v5 yet to transfer it to trade, its still drivable. It has i think been sat about a lot lately, was very steamed up when i went to collect it with sitting in the rain. Started and drove 10 miles homw ok, drivers door lock wont open, seats threadbare and exhaust leaking at back. Engine , box steering brakes and susp all felt amazingly good, and cursory glance round the body looked good too. Sadly its only the 1.6. :(.

So, obvoiuslt i will add pics tomorrow, but anyone want it? I imagine its gotta be £300 ? It has alloys fogs pas and a sunroof.

Hyper bargain! Unfortunately I need to get rid of stuff, not buy more.

surely scene tax is your friend here? got to be worth significantly more than £300 for a 2door e30?

although ebay seems to suggest you would need to put 'omg coupe drift mong project' in the title to achieve top dollar

my missus lives in Aberdeen so im up there most weekends and can pilot this beast back down to the central belt Fife/Edinburgh if it helps.

It might have tax in the screen til Feb, but the last owner will also have some cash in his back pocket so no tax til Feb at all....

Im fully aware of the tax rules, however, if i havent got the v5, i cant change keeper, so for the purpose of driving it home, its not going to flag up as un taxed. ;)

If you continue that sentence by saying you will be heading vaguely towards the M6/a little further south I might find myself 300 quid lighter.

Definitely interested in some better photos in the harsh light of day OP

The 1.6 M10 is okay in my book.

Will be an M40 on a G plate.

I would also like the record to state that I has all the wants for this, but distance/money/storage etc.

If a man in Edinburgh says you're too far away, thats bad times for us Englandshireists.

Just been out to shed. 152k, small blebs on sunroof, nsr arch has signs of cracked wob, as does below drivers mirror. Cracked rear light, blowing exhaust, noisy interior fan..... And more thanl likely lots more. Paint that isnt rusty looks like it will clean up a treat, i reckon a couple of hours it would be. A great 20yard car.

Aww FFS, due to added red vino, my phot skilz are even worse than usual... I give up for this evening.

If you were closer I would have leaped on that, but you're about 570 miles away from me so I won't.

What a constructive reply.

I'm throwing my hat into the ring and saying I'm interested. Fuck knows how I'll get it back but I need a black two door E30 in my life again. I'll see if I can sort some classic insurance out.

These were the last BMW that I admired. That won't help you sell it but I just thought you should know.

Me too, they were built really well and lasted well too. I used to work on a customers 320i that was an A reg, it had well over 200k miles on it and the only clue to its mileage was the drivers seat fabric was well worn. Other than that it was spot on and drove perfectly still.

Glwts and all that!

Haven't seen an E30 like that in a long, long time. Would, and then some.
