They didn't sell well, and Rimmer Brothers bought a large consignment of factory panels years later, and sold them in the UK.

The lighting in that photograph makes its headlights look like cartoon eyes. Combined with the bonnet/wings it looks fucking annoyed about something.

It's a bit more than a Herald with 4 doors

That's one of those artist impression type artworks.

The doors are a bit bigger on the actual car and you can see that the wheelbase is longer that a Herald.

There's a long thread on this website about the restoration of that car here

Seems like a sensible way forward for dear old Standard/Triumph - but in the usual muddled way of the UK motor industry they just went ahead and produced a different car to compete with one they were already making - the 1500/Toledo which they made in FWD and then changed to RWD. Genius.

A 4-dr Herald looks a useful thing. I can imagine that would have sold quite well. Really suited to developing countries as could be made from multiple small pressings.

Are they still making Morris Minor parts in Sri Lanka?

The Toyota Spade♠, a car which I saw for the first time when trucking down the M40 yesterday:

Yes, that's the same car in both photos :D

Not really sure what to make of it, to be honest.

It's £550,000-1,000,000 and they put those wheels and that grille on it.  Obviously I want one and it would look great next to my Mitsuoka Orochi or similar that I'd definitely have if money was no object.

New Kia Kona with rear lights in a very strange place - ideally placed to get broken in a minor bump

Why not just have a Morgan Aero 8 and save yourself the guts of a million quid...?

The new Ssangyong Tivoli

So new it's now apparently a KGM. Anyway the door handles aren't at the same height which is annoying

There's a 2018 Ssangyong Tivoli parked opposite my window at the moment. No idea what it was so I had to look it up and I didn't even realise Ssangyong are still selling cars here.

Unfortunately they're now called KGM....incredibly bland compared to the SsangYong name that has just disappeared

Short-lived competitor to the 407 Coupe. Launched 2009 and dropped 2011, over here anyway.

I’m not sure even Renault know why they bothered, it’s a nice looking thing though. Definitely more attractive than a 407.
